My P135 stock bulb not enough. is that bulb reduce light output with age ?
replace stock 35W halonix bulb with philips or other brand 55/60W bulb will damage the reflector ?
If I put 60W bulb, 25W extra power draw from coil / battery (P135 fully DC)
here my idea for that:
P135 has two 5W parking bulbs, one 5W bulb for number plate lamp.
I replaced all 3 5W bulbs with LED lamps (total less than 1W)
So I reduced 14W other light load.
Now 35W+14W = 49W for head lamp
may be enough power for 55/60W bulb

then why it does not supports the 35 hid
it does not depends upon battery it depends upon the load and the charging system should be capable for satisfying that loadGive your details help a biker stranded in your city.

why don't you check your charging and load with multimeter connecting between the battery if your bike is full dc.Originally posted by pavithra1984 View PostMy P135 stock bulb not enough. is that bulb reduce light output with age ?

check whether load is more or not if it is not then you can use you 55/60 watts bulb without the issue of battery discharge
if you are not confirm about your bike is dc or not then click the picture of rr, connecter of rr, its wire(how many are there) and post it in the convert ac/dc to all dc thread in utLast edited by rprathin; 03-02-2013, 12:13 AM.Give your details help a biker stranded in your city.

Pulsar 135 is Full DC bike. battery is 5AH. Currently I have no 55/60W bulb to check load test from battery.Originally posted by rprathin View Postwhy don't you check your charging and load with multimeter connecting between the battery if your bike is full dc.

Im confused 60W load can handle the pulsar 135 wiring ? Seems it designed for 35W load.

the wiring won't be able to handle that much load you need to use relay for 55/60 watts bulb and as far is battery discharge issue is there than you can check only with the help of multimeter.Originally posted by pavithra1984 View PostPulsar 135 is Full DC bike. battery is 5AH. yes h4 type bulb would be used for that why don't you buy Philips x-treme vision those are cheap than the link which you had mentioned.Originally posted by pavithra1984 View PostIs that bulb will suit Pulsar 135 ?

Brighter Light + Battery upgrade in HH Hunk
Hi
I am using HH Hunk since 2008 with Amaron battery. This battery worked for 5 years with no problems.
Now this battery needs replacement.
The only problem which I am facing in this bike is 'poor headlight' since the day it came to my life.
To resolve this, I am plannig to have the follwing
1. DC setup (for headlight) as of ZMA.
2. H4 55/60 bulb (currently its having HS1 Philips 12v 35/35)
3. 9Ah battery
Please suggest me how to go for DC
and
Which battery to opt to support the above setup + pro and cons of 9Ah battery.
any kind of suggestions are welcome related to headlight and battery.
Thanks In Advance.
