I want to modify my Yamaha Fazer's twin headlights to Bi-xenon 4300K HID Projector setup. I tried to contact Mr. Navnish but I don't know where is this person! Not reachable.

Can anyone from Bangalore help me with decent quality setup? I have changed my battery to 5 AMP MF..... Do I need to go for coil rewinding or something like that? I ride mostly between 3000k to 5000k rpm.

How much the Bi-Xenon setup will cost for twin headlights? I don't need angel eyes or somethong like those. A detailed answer will be appreciated.

    Many Thanks

    contact https://www.facebook.com/RDmotovil for hid
i also contacted navnish but he is not responding even on the facebook page also
you will not face any battery issues with 35 watts hid so no need for coil rewinding just upgrade your battery to 9 amps as 1 hid would draw around 9 amps for 4-8 secs at cold start-up. So your 5 amps battery would not support that much (considering when you will switch on 2 hid at same time), battery life would be very less. If you had bought new 5 amps battery then i will suggest you to use it till it lives then upgrade to 9 amps.
why don't you keep low beam for hid and high beam for stock halogen
the cost may be around 6000-6800 INR. not sure can send message to them for cost.

        • Heard there is a set of bulbs from Philips available specially for p220 with same wattage but more powerful light putput. Anybody can confirm this? Or is there a good Osram alternative to stock?

                • hi all,

i am trying to replace the incandescent lamps in my bike's instrument console with led bulbs. my bike is an royal enfield thunderbird 2011 model. so far i have zeroed down to the bulb required for various purposes as

                  ba7 - speedometer backlight
ba9 - tell tale lights for indicators, neutral, high beam
                  ba15 - tail lamp

i have serious doubts regarding the bulbs used and their sizes. above info is what i could get after scrounging through various forums. if anyone knows about correct bulb sizes then please share your knowledge.

google baba is returning disappointing results with regard to indian sellers. so far i have been able to find only one seller on ebay . please let me know if these types of bulbs are available at any online retailer or in any accessory shops.

                  • Help in Headlamp Change

                    Hey Guys...!!!

I need your help for upgrading my headlamp. I'm currently using Bajaj Pulsar 180 dts-i UG 4. It has 35W bulb & the light is not sufficient.
My daily run is around 120 Km ( Majorly on outskirts of city on highways with no street lights ).

Please suggest me a bulb or any other way for a brighter light.

you should go for projectors as you had to ride 120km (night i think)
Chinese one would cost you around 2000-2500 i would say that go for some morimoto projectors but these are costlier but will give best output from Chinese one. if not projectors then tell how much money you can put for your bike lighting.

I have used a cheap and best option on my Zma: Philips Crystal Vision( you can use Extreme Vision too) 55/60W lamp along with a good brand 4-wheeler dual relay. Still working flawlessly two and a half years on for me. You will have to do up new wiring and give the supply of the bulb from the relay itself. Tip: get any wireman of 4 wheelers to do the wiring for you. He should charge about 300 bucks. Also use a porcelain fuse and holder for worry free operation. For me the cost at that time was: 450 for the bulb, 250 for wiring labour, 200 for wireand fuse etc. i wouldn't suggest using the bulb without relay/ wiring as it could seriously harm your stock wiring, rectifier, ecu, etc. using a relay makes everything fail-safe. Good luck

pulsar 180/150 ug4 won't support that much load without rewinding and rr upgrade as the stock charger and coil on pulsar can pump out max 5.5 amps
and a 55/60 watts bulb only takes around 5amps on high beam what about the other loads like parking bulbs, etc..
