After months and months of research, eliminating options and stuff I rectified what bothered me lot.
I had complaints with the illumination system of my 2009 Bajaj Pulsar 180,

Catering to my issue, initially I experimented with a 55/60W Philips Diamond Vision with a lot of apprehension as the recommended setting was 35W.Luckily went well with the bike it handled the mod with ease and to my surprise the illum got better.
But still in dingy, poor lit areas I still craved for a bit more presence.

I got in touch with a bro of mine who had twin AES Bi-Xen setup on his motorcycle, the output of those bad boys was immense...
and it would have served my purpose if there wasn't that hitch in my mind ,I was hesitant with this option fearing manhandling the electrics and baffling modifications(I may be wrong here) hence I rolled back this option.
When I was in Delhi lately I saw these Cree light bars, now I asked myself about considering this option...Why not ??
This was an easy fix and might actually surprise me, so bought 2 sets of Fog/Spot Cree Lamps.

The Big one is 18Watt 6Cree Fog Lamp
The small one is 10Watt Cree Spot Lamp

The construction of these is hecka rigid,All aluminium (or something)
Mounting accessories are provided and the setup is quite flexible.

The electrics and the procedure is simple as E=Mc2
All four lamps are hardwired with a fuse and 2 15Amp toggle switches mounted on the Leg Guards

    NOW FINALLY THE REVEAL.

All the 4 pods are switched on in the above pics.

    ALL FOUR

    FOGS

    SPOTS

(The iso has been toned down, the output is blinding)

After installation I realized that the fogs might be blinding the oncoming fellows,So got another toggle switch with allows me to use the Spots/Fogs alternatively.
In city I generally use the Spots except when someone annoys me :P (jk)

    Cost:1500 for the 6cree pods+1100 For the Spot pods+250 Switch,fuse,labour,Welding

Verdict:Overall I am more than happy with this setup ,its like a portable Wankhede
I serves me beautifully with a peace of mind

    Forgot to add few words,

Before installling this setup,I switched the Stock indicators with LEDs as a compensation measure,
The battery is around 8 months old and coping fantastically even with the 55/60 plonked and running.
    Hello akshat,
i am impressed with the intensity of the light, I too own a pulsar 180 ug4 and hate the stock light. I am from jaipur, and here in one of the shops saw the fog lamps, the setup was squarish with 8 LED's and the price he quoted me was 2000 for the pair. 1st "is the setup working fine? Reliability and all?
2nd:" is Cree a brand or these lights are called Cree, cause the ones I saw didn't had Cree written anywhere"
3rd: "what price should i pay? Cause you paid 1500 for the 6 led ones and the ones here are with 8 led's
    4th" how is the intensity?"
5th "which combination should i use? 2 spot or 2 fogs or both like you. What is the difference between spot and fog
Sorry for the long post but please I am confused, thanks in advance
p.s. I tried to pm you all this but your messages are full
    Peace

If DC, head to JC road and ask for a 55w bulb depending upon your budget (85 rupees to 700 rupees for a Philips/Osram bulb).

            Else, order one online.
Its DC. The new 180 Apaches are DC. Not sure about 160's though. Thanks a lot!

Good setup akshatajeya. But the seller has taken you on the ride.
Is the 6LED cree are the one's having function of flashing ?
I am using 9LED Cree pair. can you post neat picture of clamping you used to mount them on crashguard.
I have used round clips which are generally used to mounts horns. Always got worried when i park bike that someone might steal it

I don't think so,I've seen the same 6 Led pods going for 2500-3000 online/local market.
                      I got it for 750 "a piece",not a steal but decent I guess.
these do not have any flashing mode.

these came with their suitable mount,4 way adjustment.

Has any one tried AV mod services in mira road Mumbai? AV mod is specialised in advanced lighting and has a you tube Channel. I talked to this Guy Vishal from AV mod. For led projector set-up on my impulse he quoted me 3500. His work on other bikes looks good but no reviews on his videos on YouTube. Reviews will be helpful....
