for KNIGHT RIDING. you would need a horse and few men..

for motorcycle on road. 4200 will be best bet...
5000k is bluish white and 6000k will be pure white..
4200 best bet? Do NOT buy anything above 4000k. Simple. Why? Lower the rating, higher the white and yellow shade. Yellow has longer wavelength and hence easily visible when you are riding above 50kmph and visible in rain too.
Again, sorry to correct you, cause 6000k is not white. No where near it. It is blue. 8000k has an even cooler temperature and blue shade increases.

To others willing to buy HIDs, first off, let me tell you, the regular yellow bulbs of 55w rating are FAR more effective than HIDs which have a rating of 6000k and above.
HIDs of the rating 4300k and below are much better than the regular bulbs. Observe the light shade of cars with projectors like skoda or fortuner. The have yellow in them. Those ratings are way lower. And there's a reason why.
So if you want to buy HID, buy a branded one with ratings below 4300k. The lower, the better.

Fog breaker? I dunno if your question is straight or sarcastic. Anyways here's the answer :-
Fog breakers are purposely rated so low cause they need the brightest yellow possible to penetrate the fog. Again the same funda of higher wavelengths applies.
Now, when i said any light lower than 4300k is better, it was a logically correct statement, but dunno why you assumed that it includes fog lamps..

That would be pure yellow... 3700k should be best.

HIDs generally come in 4300 kelvin. Very rarely we can get anything lower than that.

                • H4 LED Headlight!

Greetings! The other day at a local accessory shop, I spotted H4 LED headlight bulbs. It has low and high beams and a small cooling fan attached to the rear. The shop guy showed it working, it was bright, but not sure how it would perform inside the headlight assembly. Fitting won't be difficult, with the right connectors, it could be installed without cutting any wires. Is there anyone who tried it? Price per unit is 1200RS. I am so tempted to try one out myself, but would like to see if anyone has done it already. The picture attached is off the net, not the actual one, but looks a lot like it.

Led lights and indeed very bright... But have a relatively poor throw...like a candle.... At least that is what I noticed.

Guys. I want to install some better lighting on my duke 390. My current stock headlight is damaged. The reflector has some fading. May be because I used after market bulbs. So now I am thinking about installing a projector in the stock headlight. Is the Ones we get for 2000 bucks from accessories shop good. ?

Getting aes or morimoto is out of the question. Too costly. Should I just go for a stock one?
