and sorry for the information for price
the information which i had given for the 700 inr pair is given by the dealer of philips varanasi may be he had given some wrong information. or i got that wrong
    will confirm with him tomorrow.
But 600rs for a single H4 55/60W is looks tooooo high. In the same Philips normal 90/100w bulb costs 85rs only.

I own a Yamaha Fazer 2012 model, 153 cc, full DC electricals that came with a 12V 5A battery in stock. This is my first bike and I dod not know much back when I bought it in March 2012. It has twin headlamps, however on the stock bike, only the low-beam works on the left-side headlamp lamp while only the high-beam works on the right headlamp. This is my first bike, and I was not comfortable with the poor illumination during night time. Therefore, I got a local mechanic to do the wiring such that the low-beam and high-beam would be functional on both side headlamps. However, I immediately noticed that my horn has become slightly weaker. Further, I was still not happy with the illumination provided by the both side headlamps. So I went ahead and installed a pair of auxiliary halogen lamps on the crash guards. But it drained the battery that the headlamps. From this ordeal, I learnt that our local mechanics do not have enough experience with HID kits. They merely install them. If it develops a fault, your motorcycle becomes a experiment for them and they will do a trial and error by replacing the spares one by one and seeing if it works. Most mechanics do not have enough knowledge about electricals. Even so called local "experts" have only a limited knowledge.
The thing what you did bigger battery is correct, But only adding a bigger is will never solve the problem until you balance the charging & Discharging ratio,
So change the RR to high power one still you dint get excepted output then do the coil winding.
The black ball charging booster you have mentioned, that same i'm also using in my bike but it killed my battery. when the bike is running the battery will receive lot of power means over charging. The black ball never control the charging. If i turn of the engine the battery will lose all the charge it can not able to store the power.
Here i've seen lot of people using two projector with HID in their Fazers. even Some body with four also. So proper electrical convertion will give a lot of power without damaging anything.
And one think be your Own Electrician for your bike.

I have not installed it on my motorcycle yet, but little experimenting shows that the light is good. I have a 12V, 5A battery eliminator.
Is this price for a single or a pair,

We can focus this in a proper way to get a good output without disturbing the oncoming traffic

    • Hi Guys. Im interested in replacing the stock headlamp of my pulsar 200-S with bi-xenon . A friend of mine has recently fitted the same in his zmr which costed around 2.5k, and has no warranty. He was told by the seller that he should not use the 'pass' button unless/until he adds a splitter. Also they have told him, the projector lamps should be switched off before before switching off the ignition every time. These two restrictions make me think if i really need to go for proj. setup.
      1. Is it advisable to go ahead fitting projector.?
      2. will my battery sustain the projector's load??
      3. Do all projector setup have same restrictions as not use the pass button & switching off before the ignition??
      4. If it is advisable to go for projectors, at what price range would you suggest me to buy??
      5. Will the projector beam, crack the headlight glass??

      Please help. Thanks in advance

yes you are correct but that we cannot use as it would melt the refletor or another way to use is to mount the tata ace headlight

        1. Is it advisable to go ahead fitting projector.?
yes it is good for oncoming traffic and also for you night visibility.
        2. will my battery sustain the projector's load??
For this coil rewinding and rr upgrade would be required
        3. Do all projector setup have same restrictions as not use the pass button & switching off before the ignition??
NO projectors or bi xenon hid have this restriction the solenoid works here but the problem is hid takes time to glow so giving pass in day time is of no use as your headlight are switched off in night no problem. For hid it is advisable to not to switch off and on to often. Many companies like BMW etc. give projectors with hid for low beam and halogen for high beam.
        4. If it is advisable to go for projectors, at what price range would you suggest me to buy??
Morimotto projectors or some other good brand projectors.
        5. Will the projector beam, crack the headlight glass??
No never ever. The halogen bulbs heat more than the hid. I am using projector on my pulsar 180 from last 2 years this never happened.

        Please help. Thanks in advance

Thank you very much for your replies bro. I do few doubts.

1.what do i need to do for coil rewinding and what is that 'rr' upgrade means.? please provicde me any link that explains the process.
2.regarding the pass/ignition off restriction, do i need to use solenoid along with the setup to avoid those restrictions?

          thanks.

                • I have already narrated my ordeal with the conquest for better lighting here.

Can someone guide me on coil rewinding? I did go to Lamington Road a few days ago and asked for it. However, an mechanic told me that coil rewinding cannot be done since mine is a fully DC bike(Yamaha Fazer). I need to know if this is true. If coil rewinding can be indeed done on my bike, can you provide references of mechanics at Lamington Road or Thane since I do not want to go to random mechanics and end up merely experimenting on my bike.

you can also do the coil rewinding yourself but the difference would be there as they do with the machine

No place in Mumbai where I can take my bike? I am sure there is nothing so secretive or exclusive about this mod that I need to send my spare to Kolkata. I am sure there must be someone in Mumbai who does that.

i can't tell you about Mumbai you need to search for machine winding yourself.
but if you don't want the machine wind then you can go for the hand winding that also is not bad and iam sure there must be someone who does the hand winding.
                                you can also do that.
