Sadly, the philips india website does not provide technical details, unlike OSRAM's
Anything above 4200K is just of no use except visual appeal. The higher you go, more blue it gets and more problem in rains

        • Help On connecting a relay inbetween switch and headlight

          Hi Friends,

Yeterday i have rewinded coil of my pulsar 150 2004 model from ruby electricals bangalore. Now am running on 100/90 philips rally bulb. brightness is good. Need help to connect a relay inbetween the switch and headlight. Which type of relay i need to buy.(SPDT or DPDT). How shold i connect it to high and low.My bike is running on AC/DC setup. Any help is really appreciated. And where i will get the old pulsar head light stay and amby sil beam in bangalore. I think the current reflector will get melt if i use the 100/90W continuesly. And any good mechanic who can connect the relay in bangalore. I have enquired with 2-3 mechanics near to my place. they told its not possible and relay can connect only on cars...

          Thanks,
          Sam

Thanks for snapping the images that too early in the morning .

From the photos in this post http://www.xbhp.com/talkies/universa...tml#post929732 i think ONB is Yellowish .
But from this post http://www.xbhp.com/talkies/universa...tml#post929733 the Low beam seems to be Whitish while High Beam is yellowish . Can you say how the reflector look to eyes ? Whitish or Yellowish ? And on which Beam ?

Awesome, how much did ruby electricals charge you?
I read somewhere that ruby electricals do not make the bike full dc (like installing the ape rr)after coil rewinding, is that right?

Here are some pics of the dual angel eye mod on my pulsar 135.
Its a bi xenon 6000k, focus is good, but dipper needs leveling as the projector is focused quite close.

How much in all did you pay for this mod? And which battery you running? Please mention all the parts and their respective costs, also how did you install these projectors inside the small head light assembly.

Awaiting your reply, very much interested in this mod.

if you go back, you will find several posts on guys who converted to DC. You will hopefully get all your answers there. Also please post the pictures on how well your bike illuminates the town.
