Repost..Originally posted by theanand View PostMy Avenger 200s headlamp recently broke and I have decided to put in a project headlight. Initially, I was looking for something similar to the one below, but I was not able to get the required casing after searching around in Kochi as well as online.

This above one will protect me from the cops in the city and help on touring as well.
Right now, since the time is short (ISg2g is coming up in a month), I am looking for any setup with a single chrome headlight which can fit in the projector.
The stock headlamp does not have the depth to fit in a BMW or a E63 bi xenon one..they have a depth of about 5.5" and 6.5" respectively. Since there is no fairing, I am concerned on how to protect the setup also.
Any help/advice/

Anyone know how to test the consumption of an LED bulb?
The reason I am asking is that I have changed my tail/brake light on my R15 to a dual intensity LED cluster, the output is fairly near the stock filament bulb, just need to know how much power I am saving.Beware of Bread, don't say I didn't warn you!

Statistics show that more than 75 % of violent crimes are committed within 24 hours of eating bread !
Bread is known to be extremely addictive. Subjects deprived of bread and given only water, actually begged for bread after just two days !
Bread has been proven to kill. Scientists have now uncovered alarming evidence that 100% of the people who eat bread will eventually die !

Quality is OK. My friend has been using it for the past 1 year, Only drawback is it consumes 45~50 watts(4.8A with 12.4V reading on multimeter), where as my Xentec consumes only [email protected] at startup and drops to 2.9A.Originally posted by Stanley27 View PostHi anyone has ownership experience or knowledge about kdo hid kit? Because I am planning to buy it and would like to have some reviews if possible.
Thanks.

Thanks Sandeep for the helpful info. Do you mean to say 35 watt kit consumes 45-50 watts? That will be a problem for 35 watt bike (FZ16) isn't it?Originally posted by sandeepcf View PostQuality is OK. Hi folks,
I want to install green coloured powerful led in the pilot lamp(parking light) of my Fazer.Could you please tell me the rating/ specification and price for this? And will it be a plug and play? I stay in Kolkata. Could anyone kindly tell me any shop name at wellington/any other place in Kolkata, from where I can get this?Last edited by Subhradeep; 10-16-2012, 02:47 PM.

If FZ16 and Fazer are same, then absolutely no need to worry. Fazer produces decent amount of current. Used 55/60w in Fazer with dead battery(push started) and got full illumination at 3000RPM.Originally posted by Stanley27 View PostThanks Sandeep for the helpful info. But only thing it's draining the battery in heavy traffic.that time i'll switch to halogen powered by magneto coil AC output.
