Refer the Pictures below it may give you some Idea, I have used an Horn clamp as an extention for mounting the RR to the Stock RR place and the ballast is mounted near Crash gaurd.
and ofcourse mine is Pulsar UG3.
before anybody asks why I have two RRs , Reason is that i'm using stock RR to regulate AC and Ape RR to regulate DC from the Avy coil.

I have My HID in an Aux headlamp, I have started working on Mounting an Projector in place of the Aux lamp.
    will post pics tomorrow.
Today morning, just finished mounting the Projector on the crash gaurd.
    here are some Pics.
The projector is P220s Low beam with all the openings sealed off using M seal and painted black to conceal all the patch work.
HID is H7 4300K bulb. will post more pics on beam spread.

        Share more details.

        Which hid are you using?
        Are you using projectors?
Cost of the hid and projector?

I am looking at getting the bulb replaced. HID's are also an option, but the thing is i have seen how bright they are and i personally don't see the need for something "that" bright.

It would be nice if someone could suggest a better bulb, for some better visibility, it would also be of great help if someone could let me know the price and any store in Bangalore where it would be available. If HID is last resort please suggest temperature of lamp and cost.
Could anyone please help me with the above query

              • Does anyone know if replacing Machismo's stator / RR with Classic 350/500 is a straight forward job or will it need any alterations. Also, can it support 2 HIDs? (HB / LB) or do I need to get rewinding done.

                      • in terms of visibility it doesnt matter whether you put a white LED or a blue one. both of them does not have the glow of the stock pilot lamps...

I second that bro.Infact LED's glow better than the stock bulbs & consume less power as well. Here are the pics of led on my bike.. Actually they are white.
