Everyone please make sure the LED's are switched off when using the electric starter as I have noticed they tend to conk off when the supply fluctuates.

Hi,Originally posted by ayushkant View PostHave been using NB on my FZ since last 1 year. No prob on battery and it is really worth the penny.
Another option available is Philips Premium 55W. Costs just 100/- in comparison to 850/- of NB.
I'm also planning to change the stock Philips HS1 on my FZ. Just want to check, if you are using Osram H4 NB 55/60. Wouldn't it hurt the wiring or other associated electricals.
H4 - 64193 NBR
12 V 60/55 W
Test voltage: 13.2 V
Base: P43t
ECE approval: E1
I hope the base fits.

Yup..me too had encountered the same problem and I had to change the led's a couple of times cause they just give off.Hence,I make it a point to switch off them before thumbing the starter.Dont know if the same problem persist in other DC powered bikes.Originally posted by pavanchirmade View PostEveryone please make sure the LED's are switched off when using the electric starter as I have noticed they tend to conk off when the supply fluctuates.Last edited by Drifty; 04-03-2011, 01:04 PM.

Apache 180
Guys a bit of help needed.. I'm planning to upgrade lighting on my bike.. previously had installed a HALONIX 35W white bulb.. now planning to go a step further..
Due to shortage of budget I can either go for :
- HID
- Projector(H3 55/60W)
which would better at present over my white bulb??? How bright is the Projector(H3 55/60W) than my present white bulb????
If I install a projector(H3 55/60W) Can i later add a HID to it??
sorry for so many querry's.. but i need some help..

EDIT : forgot to mention that i have changed to FZ dome set.

RTR works on AC electricals and HID requires constant DC power supply. So if we fit HID without any dc conversion, wont there be any battery drain issues?.Please correct me sir if I am wrong.Originally posted by drvmtm View Postwhy rewind?its hid ready.

Currently I ride a honda unicorn, which is hardly 9.5k on odo . . I am not in a position to switch to HID currently. So is there any alternative to get a good quality vision at nights. I mean any suggestions for other bulbs, may be in normal category which perform better than the stock ones. More over , is it possible to adjust the high beam focus? Cause my unicorn , when switched over to high beam ; the focus hits about 25-30 degree upwards which is of no use to me.Any suggestions are welcome
