Dispensing it is a way of fishing the past from the disposal, wiping it off, painting over the ugly parts and recycling it for more than it's worth.

Pulsar 200NS headlight bulb
Guys, I want to change the stock 55/60W headlight bulb of my Pulsar 200NS to something more bright, say 100/90W bulbs..
I do not want to install HIDs or projectors as they would require electrical modifications. All i want to do is to replace the stock halogen bulb to a brighter halogen bulb.
Will it be possible without any electrical modifications??
Please help!!

BUT
it is costly, so nobody purchases it ...
99% people purchase cheap chinese ones, if you want to purchase it online, you can get it through navnish, he is an xbhp member, though a bit less active now-a-days, you can contact him at facebook also, his ID is tourer gear or something.
his number is -9845376630
no, it will be very difficult.Originally posted by Boris View PostGuys, I want to change the stock 55/60W headlight bulb of my Pulsar 200NS to something more bright, say 100/90W bulbs..

It can easily discharge the battery, overload the h/l wiring causing short-circuit (in worst case a fire), melt your reflector to name a few..Originally posted by Boris View PostCould you please explain the difficulties?? Will it drain the battery really quickly??
Please explain the difficulties that could come up and if supposing i do fit it, will it drain the battery way too fast??Its the fusion of a two wheeled machine & a human being which creates a true biker.

There ain't any modifications required to stock wiring or electrical setup if you wanna install HID. Projectors not required. HID comes with its own wiring. Just need to connect that to the battery and the High/Low wires to the H/L socket. That's it. Nothing else. It's a plug n play setup.Originally posted by Boris View PostGuys, I want to change the stock 55/60W headlight bulb of my Pulsar 200NS to something more bright, say 100/90W bulbs..

Hahahaha.. Well to overcome that you would need to rewind the stator and install better RR unit. I believe 200NS comes with a three-phase rotor and RR unit and trust me, there are almost no 3 phase aftermarket RR units.. Better just install a 55w HID..Originally posted by Boris View PostIs there anyway to overcome all these??

Query
Hi Guys,
I own a r15 version two and need more light.
The stock is 3.5 Ah tata green battery and 35 w x 2 bulbs.
I have combination of Amaron 5 ah battery and Osram NB x 2 combo in mind.
Few questions
a. Is this combination feasible ?
I mean would this cause any side effects on electricals or discharging or not enough volt for the bulbs issues ?
b. Which Osram NB to go for, i see a lot of varieties on
OSRAM|Consumer|Automotive Lighting|Products|Headlights|NIGHT BREAKER|NIGHT BREAKER Family|index
c. Would replacing the pilot lamps with LED's cause any help ?
Thanks, a PM would be more helpful.Ride On,
Akshat
