The P220 projector can take only H7 bulbs.. your H4 hid wont fit in it...

to upgrade to a projector you will need to first find out the bulb type of the projector and then buy another hid bulb for it . there are no projectors that will take your current h4 bulb in it .projectors only take single beam bulbs .

          Bottomline is.
No matter what people say, the higher the wattage, the better the output, the clearer the glass, the better.
And HIDs come with ballast only, nothing else has a xenon gas.

in a bi xenon projector it is the cut off shield that moves down to make hi beam . bulb used is still single beam type only .

nearly the same , in high beam the solenoid will consume 3-4 watts more .

Hi.. Recently around 2-3 days back i saw few projectors for sale in Nana peth area in Pune. There are few shops, a kind of special lane for them, which deal with used or new parts of 4 n 2 wheelers. I didnt asked the price though coz m still not thinking bout getting them yet. So u can check it out over there.

                        • Hey guys recently i noticed 2 bikes which had beams of different colours. Like a regular halogen yellow Low beam n a White High beam. or may b vice versa. So just wanna get sure if this is any HID or any branded bulb or just some fancy material.. Any idea bout this..? N they were kind of changing the beams like every 5-10 secs..

                          • N When i asked bout the above mentioned bulbs in Nana peth, one of the shop keepers showd me some HS1 bulbs of DACHI brand. He was trying to convince me that this is not chinese by showing some customer mail address on the box. The price he quoted was 250rs for a single bulb, although the box had a price of 650rs for 2 peices. And he had 4-5 boxes each of different colours. Like golden white 2 shades of blue, purple, even reddish!! he showed me a demo by connecting it to the battery which he had. But as it was daytime i didnt make out any difference. He said these bulbs throw up different colurs for low n high beam.
N later i tried to goggle this "DACHI" brand, but in vain.
N few more shops also had these same bulbs.
