when headlight is on 50 must be going to headlight and 50 to battery

then when the head lamp is off all this 100 watt must be going to charge battery ?or 50 watts is just wasted
In Splendor , Passion there is a resistor under the seat , so when headlight is off the extra power generated is routed to it .
But i don't found it in Glamour

I wnt to know that how can I make normal RED_BLUE LED's flash like police lights, what types of LED's & resistors or any other stuff required, should I use in order to make that on my own.
I know it would sound weird but I want to make it as compact as possible because I want to install that on my HELMET (hope you guys dont laugh ).
There are various circuits on youtube , pick the simple & easy one . BTW why making Helmet as cop ? And where you gonna put batteries for it ?
I think it will be illegal .

    • There are lot of cheap ebay (or other online retailers) HID kits for bike
prices range from 20 to 30$
Anyone know is that kits worth to buy ?
will those HID kit produce rated lumen output like 2600 lumen, 3200 lumen ?

Saw some videos in youtube but the set up is not compact to be usable on a helmet.
Just thought of doing somethimg weird but unique after seeing LED's on a SOL helmet (when I went to purchase my Studds Scorpion which was only in my budget then).
I doubt it'll be illegal because many are even using RED as their pilot lamps.

Just think of a genset which is not fully loaded to ite max capacity, does it require to be short circuited to adjust the unused load? No. its just wasted as unutilized, its as simple as that. AFAIK its not required for alternators too. Shunting is happening at the regulation stage to control the excess voltage but once its regulated nothing is required, still confused? Get ready for a simple DIY just short circuit the RR out with a 10W resistor and see what happens in next few minutes am quite sure that u will be ready for another RR or even a rewind

                • HOW TO HOOK UP LEDs TO BIKE CIRCUIT?
OK im planning to buy these LED blinkers from e-bay
                  Universal Bicycle/Motorcycle Lights-White LED | eBay

These run on button cells but i planning to hook then up with the brake lights and attach them to the indicator holder. I cant directly take a line as the LEDs consume very less power. Can i just put some resistors in line and then connect them? will it work?

                  • there are cheap angel eyes in the market too. i'd advise against it, a friend of mine baught them for 400 bucks and the plastic covering the main tube melted within 2 hrs due to the heat from the head light.

                    • It should be possible .. Or if they use a standard voltage say 5v or 9v then you could use a voltage regulator instead ....

But I still had a doubt because in the article it says 9V battery but for making it compact I will be using maximum 4 Button batteries so which grade resistors should I use.

                        • so a 9v regulator would b perfect LM7809... iv used them on various mods of mine ...
Depending on ur load you would or woundnt need a heatsink... u can place the whole circuit under ur seat ..

Friend, I want to install the circuit by making it as compact as possible on my HELMET (YES!!! HELMET.... I know it sounds funny ) so please recommend me the other way round.

                            • well then a 9volt battery is all u can do... for the circuit u can use perforated pcb board and try to place the components as close to each other...

9V battery on a helmet.... Where'll I put it. I can put 4 Button batteries (those calculator ones) OR 2 Mother board batteries if possible.
