Thts good to hear, would it be possible for you to share a picture of the position of the bulb in the projector? Would really appreciate... only of it's not too much trouble

Have you upgraded the battery or the charging system in your bike? Can your bike hold the pressure of 4 hid's at a time? Or do you use only 2 hid's? Are all of these projectors bixenon?

Thanks.

Have read mixed reviews for both on this thread. Am fitting it on my old P200 and would go for H4 4300K.
Awaiting suggestions!

sorry dude for not replying actually phone got smashed and had limited access to a computer so could not reply
Actually iam using stock charging system with a 5 ah battery.Using 2 at a time upper ones(6000k hids) in high beam
lower ones(< 4300k hids) in low beam with an additional switch to activate just one projector hid (without angel rings of any projectors or pilot lamps ) in case the battery gets drained and so less stress on the battery while charging if i use this set up

Thanks for the reply mate. Actually m too thinking of using two bixenon hid projectors in my r15 v1 with a 5 amp battery. So it can handle the load of 2 hid's at a time right. For now I have installed a 55/60 watt halogen bulb for the low beam and stock in high beam, i.e. 35 watts. So in total high beam alone puts a load of 90 watts (55+35). Though I don't face much problems visibility wise with this setup, I want to have the dual projector setup. Do you suggest upgrading to projectors or to stick with the stock setup? (Not looks wise but functionality wise).
Thanks..

Hie friends I installed the anti theft security system in my Hero Maestro its been a month I but now the battery is draining and I cant use the electric start I always need to kick start my scooter. But some time when I ride at high speed and the scooter is warm it starts with electric button. So is it a battery problem or something else. I dont know much about it as I am new in biking.

Saw my friends modified desertstorm bullet. There was a lamp fixed to crash guard. It was a hella ,rectangular in shape.Emits more light than the headlight itself.
Does it work on dc?How much watts would be it?
sagardesai Your batt is discharging. While running it is getting charged,so it can be started using electric start.Don't worry the anti theft system is drawing a batt power!Nothing wrong with scooter.

They do work on dc but its better to not have it run directly and rather have it through the dynamo as, if you opt for a higher wattage one you risk draining your battery really quick. You get them through variable wattage starting from 35w all the way upto 110w

My svc guy says I need to drive my scooter 40kms a days. But for me its not possible. I hardly drive 10 kms a day so what else should I do to charge my battery.

Your svc guys claim sounds pretty stupid to me. I suggest you get your security alarms wiring checked. If it has a sensitivity setting try to set it to a lower setting such that it doesn't ring every time someone brushes by your bike

This is a common battery drain problem that a lot of people who have security alarms fixed face...

Hey albyjose , hope you are doing good. As u saw your friend's desert storm with hella fog lamps, i guess its a DC setup, but its better to go with dynamo setup for normal halogen fog lamps, because it extracts the power from the battery like anything. I am using a set of 2 27w LED fog lamps, on my bull with a DC setup though, because LED's extracts minimum power, but i had a set of normal halogen fog lamps before, in which i had a dynamo setup, due to which extraction of power was less comparatively than the full fledged DC setup.

As mentioned in a number of threads before I attempted to upgrade the headlamp on my Pulsar 150 UG3 (2008) by doing the following. My current setup is AC +DC

1. Got Avenger 180 stator coil plate (DV111005) fitted to my bike
2. Purchased Osram H4 60/55W Nightbreaker

This hasn't produced the desired result because I seem to get the same brightness as the earlier Osram HS1 35W normal bulb. I definitely think the problem is with the stock RR supplying less current for the bulb to glow to its maximum. Is it mandatory to upgrade to the APE RR + Relays to get optimum brightness? I also found mention of Bajaj Star RRs but not much info. Where can I get an APE RR in Bangalore? Appreciate any other tips!
