I myself was searching for 4300k h4 bulbs and finally found these. Placed an order for them today. Expected delivery is 2 weeks, will try them out and let you know how well they work

I know but am talking about my existing hid setup. If the connectors are different, the should I change them along with the ballast? Or just a suitable h4 connector?Originally posted by rreneav1987 View PostZMR/Karizma comes with the H4 setup buddy.. P220 projector AFAIK comes with H7

Re: Let there be Light : Bike Lighting, HID etc
Good question.. i havent seen the ballast of the H7 setup.. but i am guessing its going to be the same considering the fact that only the connector to the bulb is H7 and not the connectors to the ballast..Originally posted by abhi7013 View PostI know but am talking about my existing hid setup. Oh no! Did not think about that! The connectors to the ballast has to be the same!! Lol!
black asp - thank you for the info bro. Was planning to change from 8000k to 4300k. But am unable to source a single bulb. The website provided also ships it in pairs. Need to search locally I guess.

Re: Let there be Light : Bike Lighting, HID etc
If ur worried tht ur existing setup is h7 and if this is true then don't worry about getting 4300k bulbs. Plenty of h7 bulbs of that temperature with 35w power ratings are available.Originally posted by abhi7013 View PostI know but am talking about my existing hid setup. If it is an h4, but u want to convert it to h7 then u just need to change ur bulb holder. Rest of the wiring for the ballast is the same for all kits

Re: Let there be Light : Bike Lighting, HID etc
I need some help i own a pulsar 180 ug4. I got an HID installed on my bike today it works good but i have a problem the mechanic used an extra switch which is now used an extra switch to operate the lights rendering the original switch useless and the new switch installed looks like an eye sore. The mechanic told me he did so because he do not want to play with the original wiring of the bike cause any fault in HID my short circuit whole wiring of bike. But i still want to know if there is a way i can connect the hid to original switches of my bike please do help me.

Re: Let there be Light : Bike Lighting, HID etc
I need a little clarity here. Is it only the on/off switch(as in,has he disconnected the hi/low beam switch too) also do the pilot lamps turn on in the stock switch? A picture of your current setup would help.Originally posted by VIJAY ''BIKER'' CHAUHAN View Post...But i still want to know if there is a way i can connect the hid to original switches of my bike please do help me.

Generally it should be a simple plug and play fix, there is a set of connectors running from your ballast tht needs to be connected to your stock switch connectors, it would be easy to identify it as it would be the only disconnected connector
but in case he has cut the connector from the ballast and used a simple wiring tape to connect to new switch, then its going to be tricky to reconnect to stock switch unless one has a good look at it.
Also you could just try asking the mech to fix it to the stock switch you know,

up or down it is for high and low beam. the pilot lamps are connected to the stock switch. would connecting hid to the stock switches may put the whole wiring of bike in jeopardy? as the mechanic told me.

Re: Let there be Light : Bike Lighting, HID etc
Fuses my friend, fuses are tge answer to your worry, if the wiring is done right normally you should not have any problems but if you do its headlights fuse tht shall fry first, so to answer your question no, ur entire bike wiring won't go kaput, but just in case ur mech has the continued crisis of faith, consult a new oneOriginally posted by VIJAY ''BIKER'' CHAUHAN View Postits a three way switch which the mechanic installed in middle the lights are off and when the switch is pushed I
