Try a good 55/60W bulb from Philips or Osram ,The OEM bulbs of Alto,Zen Estilo, etc will cost you nearly 80rs and is a direct fit(H4 socket).Try it before spending much for HId's and stuffs.

Its all depends on the discretion of the officer who stops u, if they stop for such activities, am sure that not even a single vehicle will be spared from this as putting a strip of LEDs are also falling into this. So don't try to convince them that its legal, its still Illegal.
Yeap..I had to explain it to him how solenoid works and all...then he let me go..also he was not in mood to fine me...

Will installing a 55/60W bulb give significance improvement on my CBZ classic with an Exide 2.5A battery?

                    • query about hid in cbz xtreme 2011

                      Hello guys,
I have a small query about the lighting in my cbz xtreme 2011 dual disks. Can i install a hid projector in my bike? the bike has a small 4 amp battery and the manual says the alternator is of 140 watts. will the charging rate be enough for the battery with the use of 35 w hid?
                      Thanks in advance.

                      • Headlamps for R15

                        Hi Everyone,

I own a R15 and the headlamps are not up to the mark. I am planning to change the lamps only not to HID's as I don't wanna invest thousands on the lights only.

Please suggest me the best lamps for both low and high beams without any change to the electrical's.

I was planning to put Philips H4 55/60W on both the lamps. Can I go ahead with it?? Please suggest.

A small blur like burn will happen, but nothing to worry on it.

get an ape RR (Rs. 1100) & get your stator rewinded (approx. Rs. 500), do a bit of wiring mod & you're done.

140W is (lighting + charging + ignition) available at more than 6000RPM, you'll get only around 15W for charging battery at idling.
For running a HID without draining your battery, you need to produce around 40~50W at idling, not possible with your current setup.

BUT WILL THE 55/60 BULB GLOW AT ITS FULL POWER WITH STOCK WIRING N BATTERY N WILL IT AFFET MY HEADLIGHT REFLECTOR.
Stock wiring can support only 35W, given a 55/60W, won't work to its full potential. There would hardly be any noticeable problem with the reflector.

Simply plonking in a 55/60W bulb won't help, stock stator won't supply enough power to a 55/60W bulb. You need to boost the power output to install a 55/60W to extract its full juice.

Karizma has enough juice to power a 55/60W bulb.No need of any other mods.
