no clue bro...using 13smd leds and 5smd leds before that but nothing happened. maybe some water is present in the bulb housing.....not sure.Originally posted by Dan_GP View PostWell, I recently changed my stock pilot bulbs in my ZMR to 20 SMD LED bulbs, they were awsom with bright white light..
But after around an hour ride in the night, the inner side of the glass of the headlamp assembly, around the pilot bulb area hes been discolored.. Now it has a whitish shade or mist like discoloration.. And it is quite a heavy, thick whitish discoloration too.
So I switched back to the stock halogen bulbs, couldn't figure out what was wrong, what caused the discoloration of the glass(the reflactor surface is fine)..
And the funny thing is that discolored area can be wiped out, tried with a screwdriver wrapped with a thin cloth, but cannot do it properly coz the opening through the pilot bulb hole is so small that neither a finger nor any other tool can be inserted through the bulb hole..
Everytime I look at the head light, damn...
Have you guys experience this with these SMD LEDs?? What hapened there, any clue?? Should I continue using the SMDs hoping that discoloration will dissappear??
Thanks..

Upgrading of HH splendor NXG battery
Respected seniors,
sir i intend to upgrade my splendor NXG (self start) from 3.5 amph battery to Pulsar 9 amph battery. I had spoken to my local tech who had advised me that installing of big size battery will not be a problem (i.e. with very little modification). However i am concerned with the charging system i.e armature and wiring harness are they required to be upgraded. Please shed some light in this issue.

Can it be done.....? My alternator produces 111 watts as per manual. I've already disconnected the number plate light line to save 4 watts and changed the pilot lamps to led.... My rear brake light consumes 21 watts.... Are led brake lamps available?Check out this two lightsOriginally posted by Rahulbarik View Poststill no rply for this

no issues friend. You can fit it straiaght away. It wont melt..... I was using philips night vision 55/60 bulb from a car.... Its color temperature is 4300k and the light was simply awesum..... Ynu wont feel the more light under those bright street light but you will feel the difference when you go on completely dark roads.... And i was using it in ac current.... But get ready for drop in performance with the headlights on...as i felt the same. But you wont feel it much. Its very negligible.... Hope this helps. And my bulb costed 500 bucksOriginally posted by ATHUL4R View PostMine is new CBZ Extreme. I am planning to change my bulb to white or bluish one.

It may create burns in the reflectors.and using 55/60W in AC bikes is not recommended will increase load in coil and may even burn the coils.
