H4 and H7 means socket, Honda bikes have H4 socket and Pulsar 220 uses H7 Socket.So You have to buy H4 Socket bulb,Osram Night Breaker is the best among two.Its nearly 350rs.

Osram has introduced night breaker plus bulb which they claim is even better
than the night breaker. But I only see in Osram's international site. Have they reached indian market yet ?

Funny, down here in Hyderabad everywhere I searched, not a single place sold Nightbreaker, let alone Nightbreaker Plus. The few ones which did, were charging Rs 800 for a single bulb.

Philips Xtreme Vision vs Osram Night Breaker

Hi All,

I am planning on upgrading the stock bulbs in my CBR and wanted your comments on the best halogen bulb available out there.
I am not planning to go HID because retrofitting HID in halogen assembly will just blind others and is not street legal. I am already paying fines every other week for over speeding so can not afford any more fines.
Now coming back to my quest for best halogen lamp, i have 55W H4 as stock.
Please advise various options available to me.

After reading lots of pages these 2 seems to be the best street legal bulbs available out there. So any comments on the light output and lifespan of these two would be helpful.

Unable to get piaggio APE RR here

I live in pathankot punjab.....and as i have a HID setup on my RTR 180.....i was thinking about...rewinding my coil and add a Ape rr for full DC setup though i have no battery drain issue with my 8000k HID kit yet....i have been using it for more than 4 months on my bike along with Roots windtone horns..........but here im unable to find a Ape RR due to lack of a showrrom of it ..... PLzz tell me which other RR unit can i get for converting my apache to DC


Fast reply would be appreciated as this setup has to be done on 6 apaches here......as all my other frenzz are experiencing battery drain prob on their apaches with HID

What is a really good 35W halogen bulb replacement? I have an aquila, oversizing the bulb wattage hurts the battery real fast. 35W is the standard bulb, but its output is awful for night usage. What do you guys suggest?

hi guys i own cbz-x 2011. I have 35W as stock bulb, but as usual i am unsatisfied with it. Can i use 35W HID in place of it?? as my bike is AC/DC it will use my battery only na? if yes will it drain it out?? (35W = ~3A, that should not cause any problem i guess )
