Yes that's a good idea, But guys try to come for morning ride.

Going forward at least for 3 weeks won't be able to come for morning ride/meet since office cricket tournament scheduled. Will try to come for the evening meet if planned so.

March 2012 - Kuttralam Ride

Ride Plan - Kuttralam

Destination:- Kuttralam and few other places.
Dates:- March 15 -18 (see below)*
Head count:- 29th Feb 2012.
Accommodation:- TBD
Sight seeing:- TBD

*We may extend to day 5 and that would be from Trichy to Chennai 325 kms approx.


@Newbies:- If you intend to be part of the Kuttralam ride would expect you to participate in the upcoming Vendanthaangal ride.

@Avinash:- Initiate Vedanthaangal ride.

1) To visit Manimutharu - Mundanthurai Tiger Reserve we need permits from Forest Department

2) To visit Kodayar / Pechiparai - We need permits from TNEB

Unless we get the help from a local Tour operator, we *cannot* get both the permits easily. I'll try to get some more information on the permits issue.

If nothing works out, We will go & spent time in Kuttralam / Papanasam / surrounding areas and come back. Just giving a heads up well in advance.

Hi. I had a bangalore trip last weekend on RTR 160 and would love to tag along with you guys for vedanthangal sanctuary. Was searching for a biker club and found one right here on xbhp. I understand that it is on Sunday, would love to know more details.

Vedanthangal Ride - Sunday - 5 Feb 2012

Hello All,

As most of us already know few seniors are not gonna participate in this ride, Everyone seems busy this weekend.So we need to be more cautious and by all means we need to be fully geared up.

Meeting Point:

NEAR VANDALUR ZOO- In front of Crescent college Gate-Vandalur.

Any queries regarding the meeting point please ping me.

Time :

Request every one to assemble there by 06.00 AM

Vedanthangal: 80km From chennai and 55km From our meeting point. It's gonna be short ride but still we need to be fully prepared.

Mandate things to Carry:
Driving Licence
RC book and Insurance (Xerox will do, originals is better)
Helmet
A riding Jacket or a good denim will do.
shoes for sure.
Gloves and Knee gaurds if you got one.
Get tank topped up today as it will delay the whole group in case you want to do it on the way.
Camera As the main purpose to go there to take photographs [Not mandatory ]

Please be on time and again if your not sure about the meeting point ping me.
