I'm worried we're hitting the peak vacation season time. I'd love to avoid the crowded places.

True - but its already vacation time and this will hold true till June. I think we will encounter crowds anywhere we go during these months but perhaps we can plan to minimize our encounters with them!

I know that it's not really the ideal situation, but has anybody thought of riding at say 2 am? .....just checking!!

Was thinking of ways by which we could minimize sun-stroke!!

Sunny, That would be down right dangerous if you ask me.

Not only would we be riding along with maniacal bus and lorry drivers but also pot hole riddled roads for atleast few KMS. Just my humble opinion.

And the paramahams attitude now is because i saw a horrific accident two days back near my place

Welcome! Its is a 3 day trip, From 27th early Morning to 29th Night. I too have to be at work on Monday!

2 AM may not be every one's cup of tea. May be a 4:30 AM start could be ideal.

About the ride, I am not sure as I have applied for an internship somewhere and they says its going to commence from 23rd. If the internship is in June, I'll be able to make it. Is it OK to ADD my name in the list?

Places i have in mind : Masinagudi / Idukki / Thekkady + Meghamalai / Wayand.

But Masinagudi & Idukki would be comparatively less crowded than Ooty or Wayanad.

We have a month to go - Lets see how things go.. For now majority are OK with Masinagudi - Do let me know if you have any better place in mind.
