    Heh,like once on my friends R15.I have a power of -4 and I don't wear glasses =P. I was coming down a cramped bridge,say at like 70...didn't see people crossing...just went past,stopped at signal...Cop sat on my bike..I thought some other guy wanted a lift,took of my helmet and looked back..."Hello sir :P"
    He asked me to take him to the police station and we had a breif convo about how 16 year olds shouldn't sit on motorcycles...I said I was sorry,I like riding so I ride,I was in school uniform and shit . =P.He said you got the wrong attitude...and he asked me to stop at the police station..I said ok..he made me wait for 5 mins,I showed him papers,friends licence...my helmet and gloves and goodbye police mamaa

      man how can you live without glasses at such eye sight ...mine is -3 and I always wear my specs...
      BTW get a proper License before Riding mate....

        Many times! Mostly coz I go for rides very late night.
        Last time I was charged Rs. 200 coz I was drunk. One guy was writing the ticket and the other was asking about my R15. Couldn't get an escape though!

          Thats why I told you early morning is anyday better than late nights! Everyone is sleeping, especially the cops! And yeah, never drink&drive!

              well,

              let me be honest. lost the count. i never had license until 2007, i got my ZMA. was caught for drunken riding, doing triples, breaking traffic rules (no parking, trying to jump signals). But thnx to the Angels (R.S.A Pune). Probably PD and Rash's bolg on RSA Website has influenced me. After that day i have made rules for myself.

              1. Respect the road and others on it. Never overtake (rash driving)
              2. Respect the traffic rules, the people and the abide by the rules as they are framed for our safety.
              3. Always wear a helmet, cos u never know what's gonna hit u. (My friend after getting drunk fell down from a keintic honda @ speed of 30 km/hr. After 45 mins he was taken to the hospital where they identified that there was a clot in his brain. Died after 2 hrs. i still feel guilty about it, so i avoid drunken riding and ensure tht i carry the lid)
              4. Never spit on the road. As a true biker if you don respect it, u cannot expect others to respect it. So we got to live by some rules (though not hard and fast by the book, but some for our own safety)

                Hmmm...!!!

                Let me think, in my 9 years of riding I was stopped for sevral times and when I got my NVspl. I was stopped outside KHALSA College and as i was in 11th don't have licence so in bribe I ordered 5 cup of tea for the cops.

                Later when I got my learning licence and Bike but i was riding late in the night near parliment house with friend and was stopped for checking and 3 of my friends got arresed not having licence and thank god I got mine. all were charged under IPC 751 law.

                About a 2years back i was riding my friend apache in diwali afternoon didn't jumed the redlight but was stopped by the cops and paid 100 bucks.....!!!

                  For parking in a "no parking" space which had a very small "no parking" board.At shoppers stop ,bannerghatta rd, BLR

                  Amount - 300

                  100 for fine it seems + 200 bloody towing charges

                  And the police station was just 10 foot away from the place where i parked..
                  When everything comes ur way, u r in the wrong way ;)

                    Caught twice. For riding with no helmet. Rs 100 fined both the times.

                    My school is hardly 5km away from home, so I preferred riding with no helmet. How many times a month would you get caught anyway? I'd rather pay 100 bucks a month in fine than wear helmet and mess up my hair every single day (This was until a year ago though... now I'm more concerned about my safety and I wear helmet regularly ).

                    Today, was riding with my girlfriend and skipped a signal. A cop (whom I hadn't noticed, else wouldn't have skipped the signal ) was standing a bit farther on that road, and he came running to the middle of the road and tried to stop me. Actually, I did plan on stopping (have always stopped before too), but the cop's face showed some kinda doubt about whether I'd stop or not, and seeing that, the idea of zooming away without stopping came into my head, and I did that Was pretty easy... should try to do it every time

                      I was Caught Once in Mulund(w),Near Nirmal Lifestyle,Mumbai ....I thought it was a regular checkup for papers and evrything.When I asked him What Happened .He said Show me Papers and I showed him all Papers.Everything was Fine and Then He Said Pay 100rs for your False Number Plate i.e Digital Font.I am Like Wtf .When they started to check Minute Details But Still I Accepted My Mistake ...and Paid the Fine and Changed the Font to Basic Next Morning !!

                          Do u want the tickets to be delivered at ur doorstep?

                          Or dont u have a rear number plate?

                            Well I only have LL and no DL yet, so I assume this is not going to be a big problem...

                            Besides, I don't think he noted down the number... In the rear view mirror, I saw him keeping his hand on his forehead with frustration and kinda smiling... so no problem I guess (I hope)

                              Thats ok this time, but once I saw a guy trying to do the same thing&the cop refused to budge! You know what happened thereafter! He banged into the cop&was in deep sh*t!
