Not having the license is itself a break in the rule... and legally that cop wont let you go...but, illegally if you are able to bribe/convince him with 100-150 bucks then you wud be able to go from there..

And, i think at 16 learner's would not be issued...as after 6 months or so it is to be converted to permanent license(which is not possible in your case as you are not 18 till now).

My Dad never allowed me to ride before I got my licence. I had to wait for a month even after I got the bike because I wasn't 18 yet! Also, I was always supposed to wear a helmet since I had a major accident as a pillion even before I could own a bike!

Most of these incidents were during my Degree days on Kinetic.

1. The day I got the Kinetic: Jumped the signal-bribe Rs.100 (fine was also the same amount but didn't know about it)

2. Triples at Paradise Junction: Didn't have money, so offered the licence (color xerox laminated). Cop assumed it was original&took it-lol!

3. Wrong side, lidless: Bribe Rs.20

4. No-U Turn, bribe Rs.50 (4 cops jumped out from nowhere)

5. This is a funny one: Lidless riding (my friend was riding the bike but I was wearing my helmet sitting behind): Bribe Rs.50

6. Lidless, wrong side near my house: Bribe Rs.50. I tried telling them that I was going back home to get my helmet. Actually I don't wear it around my house, only from the main road onwards!

7. Lidless riding on F2: Challan Rs.100. Cop knew I would pay coz I was with my sister.

Since the last 4 years though, I have never paid anything. I have been stopped a few times, but let off since all my papers are in order.

Feel lucky I never got caught for 7 months in Bangalore coz my F2 didn't have an NOC!

On the day I got my R15 registered, I was stopped by a cop. I was carrying the papers in my hand! He actually confessed later that he just wanted to see the bike up close!

Funnily i've been challaned for rash driving when i was'nt and "let-off" when i was. Once while i was trying to hit top-speed in an 80kmph highway (i swear i did'nt see the sign), i was radared by an interceptor and suddenly this constable out of nowhere jumps into the road, and at that very instant i was at 11xkmph and simply flew past him, in another instant i was challaned for travelling at 44kmph in a 40kmph zone, WTF?!?

ah well.. today evening at 7pm.. was riding in the Kunningal road and switched on the HID ... see a white pulsar with red and blue stripes reflecting as well... "uhoh" i say and well the cop stops me.

I remove my helmet and well "arey tu hai, jaao par yeh white light illegal hai , toh police pakad sakta hai" then i showed him that I had the normal halogen in the lowbeam , he exclaimed "accha hai , sheher mein low beam mein chalana"




secret ? : we met many times in my fav bar and had given him a lift home too :P

once me and my friend were cuming back from a ride past midnight(recently) and i was riding pillion on his comet...as we neared our house,we were stopped by the cops for routine checking as well as for having HID instead of the stock lights....though he let us off for the HID but he was so damn pissed off to see that all the papers wre in place.......then as soon as we were about to leave another officer came around and reamrked "arre kitna bada tanki hai re bhai???kitna liter petrol aa jata hai???"......i smiled,replied and v went off...........

i was around 95+ on NH8 suddenly from no where came a cop stopped me....he showed me radar gun ......my papers where complete...but then on had to pay 250 green papers to them......

ohh i just caught 15 minutes ago ....
but see how lucky i am ...
the policeman comes to me with lot of anger in his eyes....
and as he came to me...
he asked for License, and all other papers...
I took my helmet off and said " I have everything except License"
he said okk Give 250 rs. for Chalaan...
then he noticed my bike and asked "Kaun Si??" <which bike is this>
I replied " its a yamaha FZ sir "
then he was looking really amazed ...
and i asked him if he wants to take a ride...
he took the ride and YESSSS forgot about my Licence .......

yuipeeeee I escaped from them after being caught Red Biked...errrr red Handed...

That was a lucky one. But why you didn't had the license ?

Now he will say something like - "Since I was just going 'next-door', I did not quite think I would need the driving licence!"

i was going to catch my friend who took my licence and left his at my office so.....i thought i must gave it back and take my from him....
