Bought Motorola Defy
I have bought Motorola Defy yesterday for Rs.17200/-. Exchanged my Samsung Omnia 2 I8000 for Rs. 4700 as its display was giving me problem. I am having a good time exploring Defy and can't wait for it to be upgraded to android 2.2.

Nexus S or anything else?
I am planning to go for a Android phone. I was looking at the Nexus S, but its officially not available in India. So in-case of any problem, i fear i wont get any support. So recently i was looking up for the Htc Desire Hd, but yet again, the battery life is really really bad for Desire HD. My main preference is a power packed android phone with gingerbread.
Anyone can suggest me any good phone. My budget is 28-25k.A fact -- It takes more love to share the pillion seat, than to share the bed.

I;m not one of those who ports and stuff.Originally posted by 111diablo111 View Post^^how about Dell Venue or even Dell Streak?A fact -- It takes more love to share the pillion seat, than to share the bed.

Galaxy S i9000 has all but been phased out. The Galaxy SL i9003 is almost as good(minus the SuperAMOLED) as the S but at a much cheaper price (Available for <19k on ebay). Mobile phone prices are due for a decrease. My suggestion for your budget would be to wait for the new king of the SuperPhones.. the Samsung I9100 Galaxy S II which will run Gingerbread out of the box... Will be released in India wthin March. Better wait now.. than crying later.Originally posted by nicky_cool_dude_2004 View Postumm, streak is not actually my type. gave a thought to it, but unfortunately it still runs the 2.1, i want a phone with ANDROID 2.3, preferably preloaded. The only expected competitor to the Galaxy S II currently is the Motorola Atrix.. which is also not upto the mark. Check out the comparison here.

Dispensing it is a way of fishing the past from the disposal, wiping it off, painting over the ugly parts and recycling it for more than it's worth.

The galaxy is ahead of the atrix. But given that its features i expect it's price to be in excess to the price of current galaxy S.Originally posted by antz.bin View PostGalaxy S i9000 has all but been phased out. I would have believed what the link says had I not bought the Notion Ink Adam: Tech Specs with all specs similar to the Galaxy S2 (Minus the camera bit and the screen size and the fact that the Adam is actually a 10.1' Tablet and not a 4.3' smartphone) for <30k (For the top of the line model PixelQi screen + 16GB inetrnal flash memory. Shipping included.) delivered to home (on pre order.. yes! My Adam has been delivered!) with India warranty. The S2 pricing will not go above 30k as they cannot charge such an extravagant premium for just an 8Mpix camera module. And they also won't want to leave the 28k price point they have just vacated by discontinuing the Galaxy S. Besides, why do you think a New Galaxy S i9000 is so hard to source? Any other guesses genius?Originally posted by REAPER View PostGalaxy s2 eh? Check its pricing again Samsung Galaxy S2 Pricing All Over The World. When launched here its sure going to cost 35k plus . P.S.: I also happened to buy the now Discontinued Samsung Wave S8500 after it became 'Hard to source a new one though not discontinued'
. Since Galaxy S is following a similar pattern (Launch of Wave II S8530 and Galaxy SL i9003). I only assumed the obvious.

And about pricing why blabbering around. Wait for a month or two and see for urself.
I9000 is still hard to get a hold on, atleast from here in kerala.(production is low, coz that SAMOLED shortage.samsung has , thats what a dealer here said.)
And congrats on ur new purchase. How about a short hands on review?everybody dies, but not everyone LIVES...
