I think your issue might have to do with the carb or the electricals like cdi or tps(reed switch assy in bajaj lingo)

Re: Bajaj Pulsar 180 (All Versions)
Hi to all I was just wondering where to put a helmet lock in the vehicle I dont want that crash guard one the dam keys are huge.
Has anyone tried this I was getting an idea how to go about for a helmet lock.
Now my question in the regarding
1st Image which is for 10$ but not available in India hence trying to get it lets see.
2nd and the 5th image how can we put this on the bike and leave it there on the handle bar which is the best place where I was thinking of putting it as I have removed the saree guard. It should not trouble me in my rides.
5th one is coming for 400 rs from a website. yet to place an order.
now the main part in the images 3 & $ if I get an hand on this where on the bike this can be fitted as we have in avenger, unicorn, cbz Too the extent I was looking at a website in which I saw the same thing was mounted on a kawasaki Ninja 250.
Please friends throw some light on this I am waiting brothers.

Re: Bajaj Pulsar 180 (All Versions)
the 5th one costs just around 150rs and can be bought from any cycle spares or auto spares shop. and from my experience i wouldn't use this particular model (with the star shaped key) - I was using this as a lock around the rear wheel on my RX100 (the mechanism of the lock wasn't as smooth but i continued using it anyway)and after a couple of months it was jammed and i had to cut it & it took me less than 10mins to cut it with a hacksaw blade with my bare hands.Originally posted by arjunb25 View Post

Re: Bajaj Pulsar 180 (All Versions)
I have a pulsar 180 ug1 and celebrating my 10th riding anniversary with her. Ya it is 2004 model.
Its very reliable and never let me down except when oil was drained out a couple of times. She touches 100 like breeze. Did some long rides with her including one leh of 2500 kms in 2009.
I would say, if it is single owned and maintained properly, this pulsar 180 model is too good.
I changed the coil plate with avengers to make headlights brighter - No other changes. Recently got some of its body covers replaced because of scratches and wear outs.

10 seconds if you use a pair tin snips and my friend secures his R15 using this.Originally posted by s1d View Postthe 5th one costs just around 150rs and can be bought from any cycle spares or auto spares shop. and from my experience i wouldn't use this particular model (with the star shaped key) - I was using this as a lock around the rear wheel on my RX100 (the mechanism of the lock wasn't as smooth but i continued using it anyway)and after a couple of months it was jammed and i had to cut it & it took me less than 10mins to cut it with a hacksaw blade with my bare hands.
