Agree with you.My pulsar 220 is giving me mileage ranging from 19kmpl to 45kmpl under different conditions.Maximum i got was 50kmpl at speeds of 80-120kmph.A P200 must give better fuel efficiency. Also i think P200 is much more revvy being a short stroke and bored engine.

Honestly there is so much of a difference in getting the tank full from indian oil vs bharat petroleum well i became very happy after getting bharat petroleum filled due to which the vehicle has become more smooth and light driving plus the fuel average has also increased by 15 kilometres. I am now happy.

But getting a problem when the tank is coming to an end say you can see three dots at the fuel gauge showing less fuel suddenly red light blinks then again 3 I agree the tank is coming to an end. But the vehicle is getting stop every now and then, when putting it on reserve and back to on position the vehicle runs for 3 km then again stop not to forget the three bar on the gauge and no red light still.
What could be the problem any guesses. Getting the fuel tap change tom under warranty. Plus I will get the all lines check of the fuel gauge. Hope it will sought put soon.

After 21000 kms of service the front tyre of my pulsar ug4 was asking for replacement , so i got mrf zapper FY1 for 1700 rupees from exclusive MRF store. The grip is awesome as well the braking has improved, i feel a lot more confident now while driving.
And i got a new chain set too, my ride has become very smooth now. It costed me 1200 rupees

has bajaj (or whatever its called in argentina) shut shop in your area/town/city ? What is the reason that you cannot get the fork oil seals or repaired at the dealer?

There's no problem. That's how it is. Why would you change from reserve to on and run for 3 kms before switching back to reserve again?

Fuel knob and that red led are seperate instuments. They are not connected.

Should you not get this at your own bajaj dealer?
Otherwise you can find someone from India to ship it to your country. It hardly costs $1 here.

                        Pulsar 180 UG4 ; 2300km ODO

I got my bike jet washed and chain washed & lubricated ( they diesel washed it and then gear oil ) . they also remove the front sprocket cover and washed it.

In the process of washing i got my fuel pipe cut/ damaged ( got replaced ). is jet water washing responsible or fuel quality or something else ????

It was fine before that moment i entered the service station. I noticed the leaking only after leaving service station when i opened the fuel line.

I rule out the possibility of any miscreant, since the bike is always parked in secure area and i keep track of fuel gauge reading.

Agreed both are separate well here is a detail of how I sought out the problem. My vehicle which was given to me from day one the vehicle had a funny problem with its fuel knob I.e when ever the vehicle red light used to glow the fuel being on open position used to give Hick ups and give a feeling of no fuel while in motion as in the vehicle is about to reach in reserve. I used to get the tank filled up immediately as I hate to ride on reserve. After like few months with three full tanks same problem then finally I went to the company asked them that on red light till when the vehicle can run on open position he said to few km before coming to reserve. I thought there has to be some problem with the fuel tap then. Since the vehicle is under warranty he said it will be done for free I said very good. Went next day to change came to know that the tap is finished and have to wait for some days. I said OK but then it just strikes me I bought a fuel tap with key and got 1 ltr. Filled well this time the vehicle was good in response not only she went for good few km on red light before coming to reserve but also gave an fe of 48. as previously I could not check properly and was getting 40 but I am happy shall give you my final verdict after current 8 litre gets over on this tank.

Are you sure? No one removes front socket cover for washing purpose. Daal me kuch kala.

It depends on the type of the jet wash.

I don't think SC jet wash can cut into fuel pipe. These desi wash don't have that hugish pressure and they don't have concentrated jet. I have a black n decker jet wash and with concentrated jet I can cut trees.

If the fuel pipe is clamped and someone tries to pull it, it sure will tear.

Source from india. You should get it in a week or two.
If right side fork was leaked then it will also have put a lot of oil on disk brake pads. Source them too.

They do, at least in Hyderabad - especially the local mechanics.. the chain guard, side panels, seat and the casing over the front sprocket is removed and only then sent for a water wash.. the removed parts mentioned are also cleaned up with a water jet.
