Is the scrap on sale? Could use the GRS suspension. . it seems quiet unhurt!

    • Silencer Issue

Recently i noticed a crack on my CBZ silencer, peeped as there was burning smell coming from there. It is visible from the gap of the heat shield. Cause is corrosion i think as there are corrosion marks(orangish yellow).
Please suggest what should i do, i have not taken it to the svc but i think it should be covered under warranty.
I bought it in march last year.

            • Hunk can not even support the 35/35W h/l properly at idle. Forget about 60/55W as a direct fit!

                  +100,
The lighting on hunk is very very poor, After using Hunk for sometime at night when i switch back to Pulsar I feel like I'm running on some HID
                  The lighting is absolutely useless.

We can surely go for many mods available in the market but the problem is these aftermarket ones will not be as reliable as the stock ones.. Converting to All DC and plonking an HID along with boosting the battery charging rate using the headlight coil converted DC would surely help. But these have to be done with a qualified Electrician or it'll be very frustating with niggles here and there..

                        • While everybody talks about Apache and R15 being good handlers, i've not even heard a single word about Hunk being reffered as a good handler.. I feel Hunk is an excellent handler, its as good as the apache.. Only wish if there was more fire in the belly then this would have been an awesome bike..

Yeah we can do those but I feel its not worth. Fact is we need an expert coil winder which to get is highly impossible and as you say the after market things lack the quality and a proper 55w/60w bulb will do the job HID will be more than we need. But I feel there will be some solution for it... what say... We have to search a solution very seriously though...

Yes the HUNK is an excellent handler very good at corner and sharp U turns even with stock tyre but if you use softer compound tyre then nothing can beat it in the Indian market. For extra power I feel we can go for a bigger carb, a performance air filter and tine the exhaust will do a safer job rather than tuning the compression ratio to 10 or so which I have heard, when done is capable of producing approx 17bhp. but you need very safe hands to do it.

A link to support what I have said above

by the way is it ok to add links

Remove the number plate light. Will help just a little at idle.

+1. Even I was surprised when I rode it at first! Excellent handling with a calm (though not lazy) engine.
