here comes the Stunner guys !!

i left my bike for 6th Service today ...
i gave following complaints to SVC

1. Bike stops frequently when driving at low speed or start from a signa..
2. Some kind of sound is comin from the silencer(like a burst sound) [they said its due to misfiring will fix that]
3.Mileage is very low 25 kmpl i have complaint durin all service no one fixed tht..its sixth service so please tune my mileage... they said ok i will do that..

At 4.0 pm i called them whether they fixed the vehicle or not, they said will call you once ur bike is ready..then @ 4.30 i got a call from them , sir please collect ur vehicle now..

i went to the SVC & when i saw my bike they didnt wash my vehicle itself i asked them whts this u havent washed my bike? They said sorrry sir will wash it in 2 mins.. OMG i really dont knw why the hell they called me & informed that my bike is ready.!!

In the mean time i asked them whether u have fixed the issues i have mentioned today..sir there is a problem in Engine Head so we cant
1) tune the mileage ..

i asked them about silencer mis firing issue..
they said 2) sir due to engine head issue we cant fix this one too...& also the engine off issue...

i dont have words to explain my anger..then what the ***** these guys did in my bike for sixth service...??

After returning to the office i tries to check the engine oil..but i am unable to open that lid... have to check that..

i waited for 30 mins & met the manager there , he asked me to leave my bike i said i need my bike now so i will bring back the bike tomorrow.. so will let u know the story tomorrow...

Do they charge me for fixing any issues in engine ? wont the labour charge cover in warranty .. that service centre guy said i need to pay for the fix ... please tell me guys whether these fixes are covered in Warranty ??

Sixth service is completed(all free service is over) so will they charge me tomorrow?

Why opening engine?There is no major problems with the engine. Engine head problem? Ask them clearly what they meant by it.

Yesterday i took my bike..! They didnt charge anything & my bike Working fine now.. They have fixed the issue

The Service Manager checked my bike , he drove for a long ride.. & i asked him why you dint fix this ( silencer / engine misfire issue & off at low speed ) he said we thought it would be alright if we

1) tune the carbeurator

but now it seems some other issue... there is some issue with
2) Engine valve

He tuned something for some time , then informed me it will take time so please come back at 4 pm...

I thought they are going to take so many days to fix this issue like they did for (self start 40 days)... thankfully they fixed it on the same day...

That person is very much experienced .. he didnt talk much...

When i asked him whats the problem.. he said its very long story , u will not understand , i completely read your engine & fixed it..if you have any issues again pls come back.. i dint ask anything bcos i was happy & my friend was waiting for me ...

Guys please tell me what could he would have done to fix the misfire alias burst sound in silencer. & bike off while running at slow speed/ it takes so many clicks to start the engine using selfstart??

1) When i change the fuel Knob from ON to Reserve , bike takes minimum 3 mins to start ..only after 3 mins bike starts ..is it a issue or is it a Normal thing??

2) My mileage is very low 25 - 20 kmpl... i have asked the svc guys but they are not doing anything..what are the options i have now?
can i give my bike to a local yamaha specialist ?
will it void the warranty ?

i hope they know better than svc guys! please tell me ur views

When did you hear misfiring? While raising the throttle or when you release it?

30kmpl - first 14 litres - new bike
38kmpl - second 7 litres

Is the mileage so low ? I am confused b/w this and p135 both ~64K here in Hyd ...

wanted to go for this as will be ridden mostly in city and looks better than pulsar ..but ppl gettting mileage 25-30 ??? ... pulsar gets 50 easily ?

Seems like you are also from Hyd.. how much did you get it for and from where ?

completed the sixth service
while releasing .. i guess.. now its solved...after fixing this issue.. i get Mileage 40 kmpl ( speed 40kmph - 50 kmph strictly followed) ..

after that filled the tank for 7 litres ..7778 km

still running 8068 km (as of now) speed ( 40 kmph - 60 kmph, 70- 80 kmph ,90-100kmph ) drrove the bike today in all the speed for about 160 km today..

... @ 100 kmph i felt the smoothness.. before 6th service.. it wasnt like tht... so this time i get some decent mileage of 40 kmpl .. will be happy if i get 50 kmpl.. anyway its decent figures when compared with earlier figures 20 , 30 kmpl...

so if you get low mileage check for misfirings or engine off issue at low speed...

my bike is giving average of 50 - 52 kmpl..and i check it in many ways,,
maybe pertol pump giving u trouble..otherwise there maybe some serious problem within the bike engine itself..And i m very satisfied with its performance..
Only flaw is with the tyres if any in this bike..
15 days back i met with n accident on highway,bike skides on the left side,i fell down,survived,and to the surprise my bike also survived with on damage at all,jst leg gaurd rods reduce to minimal thickness after the accident..
there is no problem in this bike at all..
