Please yaar.. i am not happy with this bike....petrol charges paid by me only... i am staying in vikaspuri let me know when you can do something for me.....

I installed CEAT tubeless tyre in rear for better stability as you know the stocked tyre are from TVS.. which is very bad in wet roads...

            • Happy SZ-R Owner and newbie on XBHP

My RX 100 retired 10 days ago.
budget was below 70k and Pillion comfort was necessary for wife.
After reading 2-3 bikes review/discussion on XBHP and test drive of SZR i bought this match the expectation of RX 100. Click image for larger version

after enjoying 10 days happy ride here is what i feel.
              1. Good Initial pickup and easy to reach 60 km/h.
              2. Handling/Controlling Superb.
              3. Heavy/mild wind balancing on speed of 50 kmh is good with/without pillion.
              4. FE and sudden braking on 40/50 km/h yet to check.

Daily drive 25 km, max speed 45 kmh/ maintaining 4k RPM.
              will update after 1st service.
Query: On Ignition start Engine Fault Indicator Flashing . Is this normal or some kind of fault?

                congrats bro....
yeah it flashes for 1 sec after every time you turn on the ignition which is completely normal....dont expect mileage above 43-45 from this bike, rest is best in its class and above....

Just saw this Notice at the Yamaha Service Center in MIDC, Andheri East, Mumbai. I put them a mail regarding Low Mileage of my SZ-R and they called me up asking me to come to the service center to test the mileage of the bike. Put in an email to them and get an appointment to get you mileage checked. Will update about the same once I go over tomorrow. It seems alot of owners have been complaining about the mileage of the SZ-X and SZ-R

                        Hi Santosh,

How are able to get the kill switch and Pass switch. did you do any modifications for this. if then which parts you used to do it.

Please tell me so that i can also do the same for my bike. these two switches are very helpful but then the person who designed this bike felt other ways.

yeah he felt other ways because management told him keep the cost in check....how can you expect everything in a bike which is 10-14000 cheaper than other 150cc bikes...???

but is it possible to put those switches in SZR. Pass switch i can somehow understand but how to put the Engine kill switch as that has to do something with the engine.

no, it connects to the ignition switch. normally ignition is connected to ignition key only but in case of both(ignition key and kill switch) it starts the bike only when both key and switch are in required postion.

Yeah i added the both the switches (left and right ) of the fzs since my szr is 2 cable switch i have to get the same from ysc for pass light u need to cut the wire and change the settings(easy job) and for engine kill u can join to the ignition key or the CDI coil.anyways mine by done a ysc guys itself i asked them if it voids warrenty they said yamaha doesnt give warrenty to wiring so no loss for me

                                cost :650 for both switches
                                200 for labour charge
