Fz is a smooth bike don't worry , i am getting one soon [emoji7] [emoji7]

I suggest you not to pay attention to roughness, vibes and coin ringing sound from engine etc for 4k kilometers. I too faced more worse situation on my bike ( hornet) than you, you can check my sufferings in hornet thread, but after 5k kilometers i just feel sorry for complaining about my hornet. I had super hard gearbox, rough engine full of vibrations, unwillingness of engine to rev , power loss and what not, also i too had coin rattling sound, clutch lever vibrations [emoji23][emoji23]. All vanished like magic after completing 4.5k kilometers. Use shell 10w 40 if you're not satisfied but use motul at your own risk, many gixxer engines got seized due to using 7100, 10w 40 motul. I am researching on fz , I've heard that it's alloys are fragile. Is it true?

Gixxer engine drink oil. It's no fault of motul. As far as 7100 is concerned l haven't seen any reduction in oil level unless it's leaking or there is a broken seal.

after hearing your ordeal i feel like i am lucky.. because if i had issues like you have mentioned.. i would've already taken yamaha to the court by now.. okay lets see what i do in next service..

i haven't see any issue with alloys yet.. i had a jerk in a pothole once at 40-50kmph once.. hasn't seem to have any effect on the alloys though

            How long it lasted. ?.

Did some research online to kill time. It's made in germany but no dealer list on website.

Price wise it's expensive to motul.
I bought it in online. Its been more than 1K kms with the liquimoly. The oil is doing great yesterday i have checked the oil quality with dipstick the colur is same as when it was fresh just some minor change in colour thats it.

The one which iam using is Street (10W40).

Planning to use Street Race which is the best Fully Synthetic oil in their lineup.

My friend need some help with his FZS.
His bike need Rear tyre replacement and he is focusing specifically on Ceat Zoom Rad 140/60 R17 tyre as he is sick of stock tyre and avoiding MRF tyre because he is upset with stock tyre performance. Anybody knows how's Ceat tyre performs?? He perticularly wants Radial tyre only and not willing to compromise tyre profile (not upsizing or downsizing) for grip, stability, life span and cost also. Urgent help needed.
                  Thanks in advance..

It's a soft compound tyre compared to Ceat's hard compound ones. I've been using Ceat since 2012 and switched to MRF as alternative on my friend's Hornet and my Unicorn back in 2017. This being a soft compound doesn't wobble, has better water channeling and offers better braking IMO. This particular tyre profile is great at cornering as well. The only downside is that it doesn't last as good as Ceat tyres with frequent use. With good use it may last as good as 25k or less on bad roads. Will never disappoint on the grip part. Also, I suggest that you buy it offline instead of Amazon. Just linked that page for reference. I purchased it back in 2017 for Rs 3400.
