This being a soft compound doesn't wobble, has better water channeling and offers better braking IMO. This particular tyre profile is great at cornering as well. The only downside is that it doesn't last as good as Ceat tyres with frequent use. With good use it may last as good as 25k or less on bad roads. Will never disappoint on the grip part. Also, I suggest that you buy it offline instead of Amazon. Just linked that page for reference. I purchased it back in 2017 for Rs 3400.
Actually mrf revz y is hard compound tyre. it was the stock option when they launched V2 to reduce puncher.

Strange. Never seen REVZ Y as a stock offering here om the V2, like ever. It may be hard compound but MRF Rubber has always been softer than Ceat.

My fz V2 2014 model. It had revz y as stock tyre. Ceat started coming as options after bs4 implementation in india.

Yes MRF is better than ceat..!

I guess every brand has all type of rubber compound..
              Really hard to decide..

Hard compound tyre = less grip + more tyre life (revz y)

Medium compound = better grip than hard compound + lesser tyre life (revz m)

Soft compound = superior grip + lowest tyre life (revz c)

Every tyre brand has typ of mediums, but the quality of the compound also differ.

Michelin or pirelli tyre quality can't be delivered by MRF.

For daily use in fz I prefer the medium compound tyres, because of the decent amount grip and the economical tyre life.

                      K. Engine noise in the FZ 2.0 is common seen with many bikes at the service center with that tickling noise dont worry much about it.
Yes you can try yamalube Fully synthetic oil its better than the oil which the svc people uses in the fz.

Optima Prime is the semi synthetic oil but it becomes worst just above 700+ kms with my experience.

They said the noise is normal and all fz's have it .. I also showed to the engineer and he gave some technical explanation from where the noise was coming and said we'll need to open the engine .. then he said since your bike is performing normally .. there is no need to open the engine .. you should ignore the noise and enjoy your ride

I am trying to build more kms on my odo with yamalube before switching to another oil .. as I am at around 1910 kms

let me know your experience with sporty premium .. did you see any difference between optima prime and sporty premium yet?
