I don't understand why yamaha has not rectified this issue. Previously on v 1 this was not present. Fz v1 has a smooth engine firing sound [emoji4][emoji7]

Just ride the bike. It should reduce after some 6-7k kms.

Here are the videos guys .. use headphones

    1. Cold engine

    2. Heated engine after 6kms ride

Compare this with the FZ25 video

    Bajaj Pulsar 180 - 2007 to 2015
    KTM RC390 - 2015 to 2018
Yamaha FZS FI DD - 2018 to present

Your bike is sounding better than that FZ 250 which is sounding really bad.

The sound is fine no need to worry just use some good quality oils which also improves the clunky gear shits & smoothen the engine refinement. Really i didnt hear any major and abnormal sounds as i said Fz 2.0 engine is some what noisy thats it. But that 250 sounds as some thing broken inside actually i planned to buy that thing but after watching many reviews and videos on you tube i dropped my plan[emoji1].

yeah bro will definitely change the oil in next service .. i myself believe the mineral oil is not worth as it is getting heated in these summers pretty fast

you are right .. it is better not to spend our hard earned money on something and having sleepless nights .. i can assure you yamaha service and customer support is one of the worst i have ever seen .. once the bike starts having any issue .. it is next to impossible to get it fixed .. they can surely add to your list of issues though

I use motul 7100 10w40 and it's smooth and gives unmatched smoothness.

                          Yamaha lube mineral is worst

Yamaha lube semisynth the r15 oil is somewhat better.

Motul 5100 does the trick too for a while.

Motul 300v 10w40 good but overkill.

In my observations 7100 10w40 is best.though it's expensive too.

I have 2018 Fzs v2. Rear disk variant.

About 7k kms in 8 months.

No electrical or mechanical failures so far.

I have aux light , mobile charger , n 12v port installed on my bike.

Battery is as good as it should be.
