I was behind him&I could see them clearly through my plain visor.
Don't take risk buddy, even the visor mentions only for daytime use.
Some shopkeepers sell these visors with marketing gimmicks such as day&night use, but I strongly believe only plain visors are best for night riding.
What you can do is carry your plain visor along with you&change over when its getting dark.

U will drain your battery with 60/55w NB's along with some good amount of night riding.
Continuous usage drains the battery very soon.
Instead the 35w HID'S play a much better role..though u have to be consious enuf to switch them on only after you switch on ur bike and ride It for few meters. Reason being that when you do this then your battery is in good condition to provide ample ampeare to switch on the Hid.

          • engine oil filter

on the back of the 6th service coupon, it is stated
"replace engine oil filter as recommended"
In the manual it is given that the engine oil filter is to be replaced
            every 10,000 kms.

does this mean, it will be replaced in the free of cost as the 6th service is the last of free services ?

Can people who have dealt with the Bangalore dealer "Bangalore Wheels" in Rajajinagar tell me if their experience was good? The third service is due and he's the closest dealer.

I had my 5th service a couple of weeks ago. My bike already clocked 10000km and they changed the air filter as a mandatory change by the company. They did charge me for that. But they didn't say anything about oil filter change

And if its written on 6th service that we need to change the oil filter then the company will charge for that too.

If you want to fit one by yourself, be aware that you must absolutely not touch the glass part of the bulb. Also there's a small difference between the standard 35 W HS1 bulb and H4 bulb. The spacing between the two small tangs at the bottom of the metal holder is wider in the HS1 than a H4. The H4 bulb will not be sit in the holder correctly. To get around this, you'll need to flatten or cut off the tangs with a pair of pliers on the H4 to fit it.

Thanks Dude....for all the information...Can you please tell me how much will it cost. Also one more thing....cant we get some good bulbs in 35 W category

If you use PROJECTORS plus HID less than 6000K LUMINANCE then you wont glare anybody. And if you wont glare anybody then heck, it isnt illegal!!!

did you know that within city limits driving with a high beam is illegal and can attract a fine upto 100 rupees. and i am not talking about HIDs...
AND legally there is no too bright or too high... its just high beam and low beam; HIDs or no HIDs;there is no measuring device for 6000k luminance with a traffic cop; then it just becomes a matter of not getting caught...
Please know what laws you are breaking so that you are able to avoid getting caught...
we never seem to care about any road laws, I know, but knowledge is never harmful.

The standard fitment 35 W Philips is of good quality. You can try looking for brighter bulbs of the same wattage if you want to stay with a 35 W bulb. But if you want to fit a 55/60 W bulb, you'll have a much greater choice (Philips premium, xtreme power, Osram Night Breaker, etc.)

A basic Indian brand 55/60 W halogen bulb costs Rs. 60. Most imported ones cost a little more to a lot more.
