And if a opposite vehicle coming with high beam, you will be more blinded than in normal position.

When i got my FZ, next day i went to SVC and told him light beam is going upside i told him to adjust. He told its normal position, if you want he will bend it down. I got little improvement(not much) in slow drive, but for this adjustment it very difficult to drive in high speed. It was huge disappointment for me who used to ride RX-100 with 12v, just was feeling bad how can 20 year old bike has better illumination than this new FZ, until i found NightBreaker. Only issue what i heard of nightbreaker is life is less compared to normal one.

This is what my experience is. Light experts let me know if my analysis is correct.
Thnx dude...will try the alignment anyways and post the feedback on the thread.....

BTW does adding the nightbreaker reduce your battery performance in any way??

    • Fazer Handle Bar in FZ ?

Hi guys, Is the handle bar of Fazer and FZ are same. I think i read somewhere Fazer handle bar is more relaxed and good for long ride. If yes, is it possible to install Fazer handle bar to FZ ?

Sometimes i feel little wrist pain while riding in my right hand. I feel this is because position of handle bar is bit low. If i am not wrong Handle bar of Fazer is bit raised than FZ16, so that we can sit straight.

There will be a screw in the carburettor, it can be adjusted to lean/richen the mixture, but I suggest you get it done by an FZ mechanic, he will do it perfectly according to your requirements.
The factory setting is best though.

                      • @all--AFAIK Fazer's handle bar can be fitted on the FZ.....
Yes...it has a more relaxed feel....coz it has been slightly raised.....
on the FZ u have to bend a little over the handle bar.....
But you wil need the RVM clips fitted on to the Fazer's handle bar
coz Fazer has the RVM's on its fairing....
DO keep it in mind while changing....cheers

RVM clips are already there on the Fazer's handlebar!

or if its the FZS,one can try mounting the Fazers/R15 RVMs on the tiny visor (its a direct fit right?)

+1 , any RVM's can be easly installed on the Fazers handlebar.

I've heard/read people querying about Fazers/R15 RVM's on FZ/FZS. It is just not possible. The attached thumbnail is of the rubber padding required to fix the RVM on R15/FAZER. The base of these RVM's is too broad and two screws fit at the ends. I know nothing is impossible but it would be some hard work getting custom fittings on the bike to get the mirrors installed.

I don't think that would work out, there are no mounting points&even if you do manage to do something, the gap between the mirrors would be too less!

                                You are right.

Bottom line: Fazer has the mountings for the FZ mirrors on the handlebars, so it is possible for FZ owners to get the Fazer handlebar&use their existing mirrors. Rest all will need lots of jugaad.
