if you are planning to buy the yamaha jacket..let me give you a fair warning that the jacket is only for posers and has got no protection (i.e. CE armour nothing!!) which a rider's jacket should have... So incase of an inevitable fall you will have no elbow, shoulder or back armours to protect you from severe injury.

Regardless, why don't you try riding gears section under universal threads.. you will get a better response regarding the query for the same. people on that thread can also suggest you better alternatives..

    cheers

no even then 2k is not justifiable... i dnt think it is justifiable untill and unless they say that they have to change something in the full assembly....

            • Today i went to my dealer for second servicing. They again told me that my bike starts turning towards left as i let go of my barhandles is because forks are malaligned. And they added that i must get handle replaced and alignment done at the cost of 2k bucks. They also suggested me to make insurance claim which will partially compensate overall bill. What should i do now?

2000 bucks for fork alignment is just too much,,u can do the alignment at much lesser price from outside shops...it will not be 500 rs also.Just do it from outside & get a new handle bar..costs just 230/280rs..all will be fine..

My factory fitted brakeshoe lasted 16k km, but replacement unit lasted around 6k km only.

                        • did the 3rd service today. opted in for mineral oil for once again. new handlebars were out of stock so they fixed the bend on it. having ridden a bend one for about a month, the straight one seems like its bend to the other side. lol.
