but i feel it wouldn't fit because fz's rear mirrors are on the handle bar
and the mirrors on fazer are mounted on cowl.
after the question(post) been placed in this thread i checked
the bolts and the fitting of fazer i guess it is different from fz's
    please confirm it .

I guess the FZ mirrors fit the Fazer and the Fazer mirros since they get fitted on the Fairing dont fit the FZ. Pfff Boys it's just Rear view mirros why bother. Just allign em to see whats at the back push the button and Fzzzzzz away

Actually that's the exact cost difference of two bikes(FZ and Fazer). So no wonder it costs Rs. 6000/-

                • Hey people,
                  I have a question..
Can we fix a bolt-on handle bar on fz? and if yes, how much does it cost (approx.)?

Rims are, as a matter of fact, covered. I had hit a small pot hole and my luck, the rear rim had bent, filed an insurance claim and got it replaced in a week. The FZ rims are of cheap make as they are very light in weight compared to others

And Yamaha thought that they are giving a very high quality bike meeting International standards to the Indians without realizing how we compare every thing to Gold.

Two examples - people found a 5 gram gold coin more attractive offer than a discount worth much more than that...

Way back before the 21st century began, one Japanese company made a device of a few inches in dimension, a great one, cheaper (abt 70K) and better than competition in every way where the competition were making something of a size more than a bigger laptop and costing abt 1L. They couldn't sell it. After some more research, they packaged that small thing into a biger box of similar size to competition and priced it close to 1L, it sold like hot cakes!

Well, I am not defending Yamaha here... they should've made the bike more for India... but please don't say the alloys are cheap.... the Indian roads are cheap.

actually the alloys are cheap..when i rode my fz over a pothole near my area my rim was bent....the same pothole when i forgot and went on my p220 nothing happened...with my fz and my kid brother's r15,we had to bend the rims back in shape number of times...and i finally had to sell off my fz when i couldnt take it anymore..fz is a good street bike, but the parts of it arent up to the mark

ever heard of paint on the tank gong away cause of constant jeans rubbing??? my frickin paint got erased cause i ride too long ot seems and due to constant movement of my gear shifting leg...lolz...

if you go to pearl yamaha at kondapur, the service manager Mr.Murthy says that many bikes both fz and r15 major complaints are the rims..

and ask him which customer he has discussed this thing with, the most... he'd give you my name.

I said that it is a problem and that Yamaha should have considered it seriously.

Well, technically speaking, a pot-hole is not a property of the road. But being light weight is the property of an alloy.

Excuse Yamaha for R15's alloys for that being a track focused bike. They should have made the FZ's alloys like those on other Indian bikes...

                              • front fork

i am getting some weird sound from my front fork of my fz when i ride through bumps and pits

any one getting the same sound from the front shock absorber

i checked it during the servicing but yamaha service people says it is ok

this might be because i rode once over a pothole it started from that time

i got a reply from a xbhpian to check my air pressure level but my air pressure is accurate "28" in the front tyre

did any get the some noise when you are riding while you use your front disc brake while going over a pit or a pothole
