Bro calm down...I know the Fz is better in the cities..I for one have faced a lot of trouble with the Fazer's mirrors-they stick out a lot and it's tough to squeeze through gaps and such...nobody's denying tht the fz is better in the cities..But we were discussing top end and it's obvious tht the Fazer would hv a bit more of a top-whack.BTW discussing top-whack is not talking about rash-riding..hope u realise tht..
BTW thnx for ur reply nand
I understand that bro but what I was telling was diff.from top speed of fz & fazer.Sorry If my post meant otherway..

there are two options for the seat cover
1. the mesh type one from yamaha itself costs 1200 bucks and gives good cushioning effect.
2. you have to get it made by a local seat cover guy. they can make a seat cover exactly to you specifications if you want to add extra padding that can also be done...
Timon: Orange Yamaha FZ16 2009
Optimus: Red Mahindra XUV500 W8 FWD 2013
Atom: Red Tata Nano XTA 2016
Pumba: Red Harley Street 750

Went to Cramster dealer in Mumbai on Saturday. Bought MX3 gloves for 1100 Rs.
I just enquired if they had any saddle bags for FZ/Fazer as their site doesn't mention any and has specifically mentioned that those bags which are on website are not suitable for FZ/Fazer.
And....Bingo!!!! Cramster has just launched a saddle bag for FZ. It was amazing. About 36 Ltrs of space and with amazing quality.
Its for 2K and I am planning to get it before my next tour (its a complete value for money thing).
i stay near bannerghatta park after meenakshi temple bannerghatta road.
where do u stay.please suggest good looking and well padded seat cover
I would suggest you to go for Mesh seat cover from Yamaha if you are not tight on budget. Its really awesome and cost is around 1200 Rs. But the problem will be in rainy season. Once the seat is wet it takes a lot of time to dry. Else its very good on Comfort for long rides.

I am not interested in the mesh seat.please suggest any other.Bcoz it has many disadvantages u have already mentioned. So it is not worth spending that amount.

Everything will have some or the other disadvantage. Also if you try to put any seat cover in rainy season it is bound to get wet.
Also I would suggest you to check if someone has a meshed seat cover and ride it for sometime. I am sure you will love the comfort it gives.
My cousin's bike has one. And let me tell you its awesome to ride on it as compared to my seat which doesn't have any cover.

Bannerghatta is way too far for me to know any good place around there ... I stay near ulsoor , indiranagar and there are a lot of guys who do this work around here , so should be a straight forward job .
