I saw Honda CB500x n I was dreaming that Honda would launch or make announcement of it.
But they launched new Activa 5g n new color scheme of CBR 250.

Btw jokes apart, check this CB500x. U will feel the same.

They have the guts to display Contigo tyres on their auto expo model...

Btw, at least they will get 100 sales per month with the new color launches. That's a good enough number to ensure part production continues.

2018 CBR 250R. No matter how old it gets, it still has a unique charm of its own! The very essence of the CBR 250! From what I can see, the calipers have been redesigned, if I am not wrong, the front has become a two piston instead of a three piston, and rear caliper NISSIN designing is beautiful.

        Cheers!

Once upon a time, a guy asked a girl 'Will you marry me?'
        The girl said, 'NO!'

And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.

        THE END

I think they have adopted AHO too.

Headlamp is nice and I would like to see it light up.

AHO is mandatory from last year.
Even ABS is becoming mandatory for 125cc n more cc bike from April 2018.

I would love to get those led headlight setup on my CBR 250. At least we will have the option to just keep the DRL on and not the complete headlight.

And hopefully the brakes are well enough to not eat up my brake pads like a maniac so I can change those too.

But the headlight assembly is a must to buy for the new look. It looks Bomb AF (sorry for the word but can't help it).

Everything seems to be good about CBR. But the million dollar question remains - when it will be launched? Or Honda is waiting for BS-VI norms to be applicable in India and then bring CBR here?

If you have noticed , the 2014 dual headlight CBR250R/300R abroad dumped the C-ABS and 3 Pot caliper in favor of these 2 pots and normal dual channel ABS for reasons unknown. India gets it now only. It looks like a similar unit on CBR650F 2018 as well.
One more thing is the CBS version's caliper(front) on Hornet 160 looks exactly the same as that of CBR250R's combined ABS one, albeit without the sintered pads. It could be a straight pad swap, for those who needs a cheaper option. Attaching a pic when I saw the Hornet in a parking lot near my CBR.

Right, Ivin. The Hornet does get a 3-pot caliper, since it has CBS sans the ABS, similar to that we have with Honda scooters. And since the old CBRs had ABS with CBS (front brake) the Hornet just has the CBS, the same principle as the CBR 250R. Now, what's interesting is, the newer ones have two pistons, but does it have a combined braking sticker stuck to the front fender? From what I can see, it doesn't. Perhaps, the CBS system has been dropped or it still has the CBS albeit works with either of the two pistons working when used with the rear brake.

The new CBR250R doesnt get CBS system. Its normal abs, like the duke 390 for example

I believe that the CBS three pot system was removed to stream line production, apparently it was only on the cbr 250 r and the 125, not the 500 or the larger models.

Changed the rear to ralco Speedblaster 140/70 from Round and Black, Palakadd. Needed for roads around here which are sandy, and bumpy. Will update the thread with the review soon. As of now, the bike rolls slightly bumpier, more noticeable at low speed.
