    Got a problem !

When I take the bike in Bad roads (understand what I mean ) . I Hear some thud sound and I can feel the thud all they way to Handle bar ! Took the bike for ASC ..

Mech Noticed there is no fork bend , fairing remains intact , checked the disc calipers whether its lose ( its all fine ) and no rim bend either !

He asked me to leave the bike for sometime ( I am planning to leave it on monday as I was in hurry ) and he said there could be loose fork ..

Any other owners faced this issue ? If so could you tell me what could be the problem ?

In my case it was the loose steering stem bearing adjustment nut causing the noise but then i didn't have any option as the nut if tightened a bit more would case the steering to get jammed....eventually had to get both the bearings replaced as the old ones upon opening were found to be corroded.

          • Finally got the number plate for my Jezebel ... In the process undertook first in-city ride ... Though the torque n acceleration is good I feel Royal Enfield C500 Desert Storm was much more fun to ride in city ... The engine heat was uncomfortable so was the hard seat ... Overall first impression for city riding is below average ... Lets hope I enjoy it on highways !

Have been planning to paint my Bikey black since the time I got her,
Finally did it, she looks good.

              Looks slightly empty may be.......

next mod planned is either a full job by Joel or an Akro... slip on!!!
              Any suggestions??

Clocked 6200km till now, running beautifully.
              No probs so far.

you bike is looking stunning...just mind blowing...thank god you didn't paint the exhaust heat-shield black.....by the way what are those stripes on the side of the petrol tank & how much did it cost for the paint job.

The paint job costed 1.5k, removing and fitting the fairing was done by me only.

The stripes on the has tank are protective stripes bought from Reliance Autozone used car door sides etc, i have put them there on my bike to save the tank from scratches, though i am looking for paint protection film, once i get that these stripes will go off.

Thanx buddy....this is the kind of paint job i have in my mind a few months down the line...in the meantime just checking with carbon fibre kind of finish on the silver panels as well.

                          Penning down my thoughts...

Akro, Yoshi, TB or LeoVi...just remember, per law, the exhaust note should be less than 91db; see the stupidity of the law here - http://www.xbhp.com/talkies/news/221...mbai-cops.html

Now that said, you could use a DB killer & go unnoticed, but the flip side is, its as good as stock

Now the other way is, get a static PC or piggy backs with stock exhaust to boost the power; or get a programmable one, replacement ECU & then a full blown exhaust system, now that's what I call kicking someone's ass . It also has a flip side... exorbitant cost.

Now all the above products are reliable, made by team of people who carry out R&D methodically over years with proven record over time...consistently; you can certainly see a bump in the performance on a dyno. But again, don't expect the bhp to flip from 25 to 52; the best you can expect a boost of 20-25% which is 30-32 Bhp & a top speed probably of 175 Kmph on speedo. If you look at the cost, you might as well ask...is it worthy

Oh!!! and again, no matter what slip on you use, the BHP increase is going to be...just 1%, which is from 25 to 25.2 Bhp
