Yessir! Majorly the radiator. Took ages to come. And since I had claimed insurance, they'd repair it only after every spare had arrived. Some tough months I should say. Thanks to people like Aargee, Kishore n all for their support and help.

                • Anybody have checked km/h to mph

They are telling the km/h to mph and vice verse can be done by pressing the "Mode" button for 3-5 seconds and when the display starts flashing press the "Reset" button to change km/h to mph. Anybody tried this?

R15 is a track tool whereas CBR is more of a tourer which is more comfortable

                      • 2nd Free Service complete.
Bike does feel smooth although i still think i can hear the fairing rattle a bit here and there(which i intend to get it fixed when im in Blore)
Total bill was 590+/= And an additional 350bucks for the polishing( i didnt want to but i thought id just see how it fares anyway)

ASC totally neglected my demands i.e., getting the minor scratches here n there buffed out and giving me a quote on repainting the front cowl. - Gonna visit them this weekend for the same.

However i did notice they added an additive to the engine oil.
Its called "Bardhal" Nothing mentioned in the manual for additives(if that is one)

                        A pic after polishing

                        • "Bardahl" contains a substance called "teflon", and some people / some online websites say that at high temperatures teflon melts and blocks the small holes in piston oil ring and other small holes in engine, meant for lubrication.

i have been using bardahl every time i put oil and it feels extra smooth for first few 100 kms or till the time you do a high speed run, after that the extra smoothness goes for a toss. after that you can only feel the extra smoothness during morning when the bike is cold.

now i have stopped using it after reading some negative reviews online.

even if it does something good, it will be effective only in low and medium quality or mineral oils. other costly or premium quality oils or fully synthetic oils already have sufficient additives to perform good, there is no need to put bardahl in premium quality or FS oils.

Your Bike is looking really immaculate but rs 350 is definitely high for a polishing job, actually am using a polish called TURTLE WAX which costs RS 240 and i use it on painted surface(plastic & metal) & for the dull black plastic surface i use MOTOMAX dashboard polish costing RS 90,takes about half an hour for the polishing job & the results are really good.
