The exhaust looks super sweet..!! Though I wish I didnt have to tilt my head to see it & wish it was 'ride' instead of 'drive'.. JK.!

About the tank pad, you can order it online from PlanetDSG.! They dont have Progrip, but have keiti..

though you can try the ebay to check Progrip having free international shipping.. You can get in crazy cheap rates.. ON your own risk though

the colour depends on your taste dude...black is difficult to maintain and less noticeable if you want to show your presence go for red...take a look at HRC colour also.....congos for your ride.....happy revving and safe riding....

Have used Xtreme for sometime & found its more of little annoy; reason is simple, it has almost white light & the low beam is awesome, but high beam, you can very easily see the sign boards than the road itself. Result? I switched to stock; not that I'm happy with stock either, but better than Xtreme.

thanks buddy....one more question.....does one have to change the adaptor i.e. the bulb holder and install any kind of relay??? and the horn is pathetic....not even a donkey on a road moves....want to install those skoda type horns...is it advisable??

I agree to this. The focus of the reflector seems to be made for the low beam and not the high beam, which normally is the case. Don't know what needs to be done though.

I'm not a horn kind of person & believe in the fact, louder the horn, lesser the knowledge to ride...no offense to anyone, apologize, if it does & most importantly, no matter how loud the horns are, people have to choose if they need to yield

I'm thinking of altering the circuit with a third switch; when ON, it relays power to both low & high beam.

Check it when you're changing the sprocket-chain set next time.

I have tried riding in a similar way by keeping the pass flasher switch stuck to ON. But it doesn't help much; it still illuminates the shorts of the guy sitting in the 1st floor balcony more than the road.

I don't know how to do it but if somehow the light can be placed in a way that the high beam filament rests on the focal point of the reflector, then our problem is solved. Let me browse through to check if such a thing is feasible.

                        Yea, but how

If that were true, then, fitting a lower or higher profile tire will not affect the speedo. Does it

Even I read it somewhere, I didn't check it personally..

Check the attached image to find the sensor.. I am not able to make out if it is in the front sprocket. I believe speedo reading is not taken from the rear wheel.

                          • Kishore - Very vital info; in reality, tire profile should change the speed of the vehicle, but, it doesn't for CBR & changes with sprocket change. Very weird & kind of inaccurate as the speed is measured with wheels & not sprocket. I could be wrong in my understanding too.

Yes, it is crankcase & will open up once CBR is back & confirm things. Tks for the useful info though. Appreciate it.

Check if you get a speed reading when you do a wheelspin / wheelie. (I am not telling you to do it, but someone else should have done it by now). This will ascertain if the speedo works from front wheel or rear.

We can adjust the vertical throw of headlight beam, think procedure is given there in the user manual..

RG, always welcome . Giving info from whatever limited knowledge I have.

One question, whatever may the tire profile be, the tire speed and sprocket speed will always be in proportional right?
