    Well i don't own a cbr but earlier in the thread i think some guys were talking about the bike stalling if you don't rev to 2.5k while starting off like from a signal or something like that..

      rode today 150 kms in heavy to very heavy rains --got scared in morning first when smoke started coming from the radiator--later ceased

      brakes are good --rode in offroad too because of heavy traffic & the tyres as well as the grip held good in slush

      bike though tends to switch off suddenly in higher gear & when the engine is heated & the radiator fan (table fan given the huge whirrrrr it gives off ) is on full swing

      Going for another ride tomorrow & will update accordingly

        you wont have the mix up prob in shell super... its 78.7 in hyd... will be cheaper in rest of the cities

          Got a call from dealer today. They were saying Honda is organizing an event in Coiambathore race track where they will do free check up of the bikes and will give you more information about the bike like maintenance tips etc also will be getting chance to ride the bike in race track. From their dealership me and other guy is selected for the event. The event is on 2nd July 2011(Saturday). They told me they will give me more information later. Does any one got call from their dealer ship regarding this event?

                WTH??? They haven't delivered the bikes before that, they want to copy what Kawasaki did after a year? Err....aaargh!!! Why jump the gun?

                  i was told not to ride fi engines straight away! i learnt they hav to be heated up a little to pull them away!

                    My CBR gives white smoke every time it cold starts for just 4-5 secs then its normal and also there is no bad smell from it. Should i get it checked or is it normal. Its done only 500 kms.
                    Never upgrade without getting your basics RIGHT.

                      White Smoke is not usual in any bike except 2 stroke eng ... report it to your service center as early as possible...

                        R15 ppl were also asked to participate in the tracks! i think another such event may be held in chennai for tamilnadu cbr owners!

                          Its premature. Didn't even start the delivery properly!!!!

                              Hey guys,just came back after a ride on CBRs with our XBHPians (Pravu bhai and Amlan).
                              Enjoyed a lot with both of them!Had a great time and felt scary as well while
                              i was pillion with pravu bhai.
                              Pravu bhai is an expert when it comes to cornering.He was cornering like an motogp racer.
                              And the ABS version of the CBR feels awesome while braking.
