      wow one more. cool i see many reaching 5k 6k 7k kms at the same time. yours is bloody quick sad to hear about the dent i see you have done lots of touring, now anyone out there who says R15 v2 is not for touring?
      but i wanted to know that which color has more street presence or in simple words i should say that which color attracts

              This saturday the bike will be up for 2nd servicing 3000kms, anything i should know about?

              Iam changing the service center this time, will be giving to Monarch Auto, Tilak Rd. Yes, it is an authorized one.

              Please let me know if there are any replacement to parts, Filter or anything, if any.

                Hey do let us know about the quality of servicing they do. I was not thoroughly satisfied by the servicing done by Factory shop

                  i had changed oil, oil filter, topped up coolant, lubed chain.

                    Yeah, Saturday there is a huge rush, so you have to wait till 4pm to get your bike back. And then they hurry up the servicing, i had to literally point them out that such a task is left, that task is remaining. I wondered what would have happened in my absence. That guy charged me for coolant top up and I dint actually see him doing that, when asked he said he forgot, so did it in front of me. And then there is a huge list of taxes that you need to shell.

                    I have couple of questions in regards to Air Filter, please sort out as i actually do not know which one is used.

                    1) Type
                    2) How is it cleaned? I havent seen it in first service being cleaned or anything Please elaborate.
                    3) Stamina or when to replace
                    4) Reusable after cleaning
                    5) Cost

                      Can someone tell me the location of the battery in R15 v2?
                      Also what will be the cost for 5ah or 9ah battery?
                      Would a 9ah battery fit the v2 without any mods?

                        Under the rider seat. Little mods are required for all batteries except the stock 3.5A.

                          5A battery is a direct fit to the battery box you can still use the same battery retainer strap. Just peel out the sponge kept inside the box. I have 5A Amaron in my bike and my friend has 5A Amco.

                            How long have you been using it? My friend after using 5A battery, his battery never charge automatically while running. Changed to stock and everything went right, thats what I said.

                              2yrs 20K Kms, never faced any issue. Have to say 5A is better than stock 3.5Amps. I have dual horns and no horn squeaking while at high beam. Not only me many R15v1 owners should be on 5A by now.

                              You can simply close your eyes and use an Amaron/Amco 5A coz I have tested both. Battery charging issues will be found only when using a 7-9A battery, so thats when you re-wind and change the wiring harness.
