The color scheme for R15 v2.0 changed. Racing blue is now more of a white blue and Raring Red is more of white red.
Voa.. you are right. New colour scheme launched.
In the above pic, silencer is different , but in some pics, its the current one itself.

    • New Colors? Yuck!

Seriously, the new color schemes are horrible! What was Yamaha thinking? Makes R15 look bad. All the 4 look like cheaply modified R15s.

But lets wait for some real life pics to give a final judgement.

I'm SO glad I got mine last year. LOVE my 50th Anniversary LE!

Green stunning..... Especially the logo on the fairing. But I think others suck except the racing blue which is just the LE. Blue stripes instead of red

I doubt getting the version 1.0 is possible. Pillion seat forget about it. It'll only be comfortable for your girl and girl pals else moreover for your saddle bags

To all those how-to-run-in-the-bike-oh-it's-so-confusing. Here's an advice.
Read and follow the OWNER's Manual. Keep it simple.. Old School technique will do more good than harm your bike

                        • done with my 6th free service, it was supposed to be 5th but date lapsed long back (big story!). but service done. went to sprint yamaha around 9.45, got the bike back at 12! :P he promised he ll give at 12 and got it. was standing there watching whats being done. satisfied. the service guy asked me if i wanna try fuel additive, from bardahl, he said he ll add it to engine oil, it will reduce the friction and make it smooother. so i said ok. 50ML added.

                          1. YamaLube - 442.98 INR
                          2. additive oil - 135.37 INR
                          3. chain lub - 131.58 INR
                          4. consumables - 39.47 INR

                          VAT - 108.66 INR

total - 858.00 INR thats the highest i have paid til now.

surprisingly i was not charged for wash and polish (they do it even if not asked for it!! )

The initial pickup is smoother then before, after adding the additive. but tomorrow i will be riding to wayanad and back, so will let you all know how it is. infact mine is the first bike they are trying. they said its very good.

Nice to know you concerned about your parents. I was feeling the same way when i was buying mine. And yes parents cannot sit on it. still feel bad sometimes when mom asks to leave her someplace and then i have to take out car.. Anyways its one hell of a machine. @ the end.. its your call.

I guess there is a price hike for the old model too, I got mine for Rs 1,24,489 on road, right now the prices are around 1,30,000 on road.
