    ODO: Total distance covered(can't be reset by any button)

    Trip1/Trip2: Trip meters. Can be reset to '0' by pressing the button just below for few seconds. It's for your convenience if you want to record any particular distance and reset to '0' whenever you want.

    F-5.9: Means you've ridden 5.9 kms on reserve fuel. The reserve capacity is 1.9 ltrs. 'F' will appear whenever your bike hits the reserve and it will start recording how much kms are travelled on reserve fuel.

      Trip1 & Trip2 are trip-meters which can be reset to 0 by press-holding the select/reset button when the desired trip is selected/displayed {Can be used to measure distance traveled and for calculating Fuel efficiency }

      We have total 6 blocks of fuel when the tank is full [12 Liters].
      Hence 1 block = 2L
      When the last one is blinking, it has 1.9L of fuel left.
      When the last one stops blinking, Yamaha says to refuel immediately but we can ride for 10 - 15 kms more (My experience).

      Don't worry about the question as long as I am stuck @ office

      And get your Manuel or at-least read once.
      I studied my friends Manuel and i was ready for practicals when i got my ride

          Actually what I observed is that the 1st bar indicates the least amount of Fuel(less than 2 ltrs).
          Where as the last one the most ~3.5 ltrs.
          Just an observation, wanted to share.

            When the last bar gets vanish
            still we can ride 10-20kms, right???

                  i wana fit led parking lights to my R15 LE, found these pair of leds on ebay http://www.ebay.in/itm/160941187225?...84.m1438.l2649
                  can these be retro fitted to the r15 and should i go with 10smd or higher?
                  also is there any other place online where i can get these at a lower price as i believe 325 buks is bit too much.

                        IIRC those plastic visor screws costs 57 per piece. My fazer needed 6 of em.. I almost fainted when I heard the price.
                        So went to bajaj svc and bought pulsar's visor screws..direct fit.

                        • Hi guys.......I got my byk today...and Got a problem...dunno its serious or not.... I was driving it normally with frequent starts and stops here and there....Then i filled up fuel in a bunk and then went to my friends house... A 10 min stop,after that my friend got the key >> turned it on >> push the starter and the engine didnt start...Tried about 3 times and yet fail..then started after turning the ignition on and off for about 2 times.....After that i drove and again frequent stops and starts...no prob for me....started with a single push...Then again he tried it failed...Dunno its bad luck or something....Anyone know wats the problem ???? i ll test it again tomorrow.... please help Fuel problem??? confused bcz its still working fyn for me...

                            • Definitely Yes. Keep a habit of filling up petrol as soon as you see the first bar. Never ride the bike in reserve.

                              And just a confirmation for Mumbai guys, all the normal petrol in Mumbai is actually unleaded 91 octane petrol. Speed is 93 octane. Confirmed by checking with the bunk manager and his files.
