If there's no bends(restricting exhaust gas flow) or leak, you're good to go

But next time be careful while riding over a speed breaker.

    • There is no gas leak...
But i am unsure abt the blocking of gas flow...
Anyone has vertical section of exhaust system?
Did you see that it is getting rusted??
What should i apply on in??
Normal paint wont stand on it and with heat it will vanish...
      Any advice guyz?

looking at the pic. It doesnt seem that the exhaust is bent anywhere near the damaged area. you can apply red oxide paint and mix it with grey/black ( the color of exhaust) and apply it there. Cant say whether it will hold the excess heat or chip off. Another option is why dont you go to 3M care center, Ask them about anti rust coating. get it done. as you are based out of Mumbai, it is prone to rust.
about blocking of gas flow. Wont happen unless there is a mojor bend or something of the sort in the exhaust.
About 3M care. I guess they have a anti rust coat in cans as well. You can spray on the 'wound'.
P.S. about the paint thing. I'm not really sure. PLease check with your local mechanic or some hardware shop regarding the same.

Keep Calm and Kaam se Kaam

To all those how-to-run-in-the-bike-oh-it's-so-confusing. Here's an advice.
Read and follow the OWNER's Manual. Keep it simple.. Old School technique will do more good than harm your bike

          Soframycing laga usko!!

Jokes aside, the problem can be tackled in two ways

          1) You file insurance and get it replaced, the silencer would cost around 8-9k, since its metal expect 80% of repayment by insurance company.
          2) Live with it. Check if there is no leakage of gas. How to check, see the firing, do you hear any change, if no then you are good to go. If there is any change refer step one to save money.

You cant paint it, cz its a dent, you can dent it out cz you cannot open it. The above-mentioned solution should help.

          Goodluck.

Good, go with the procedure, the SVC people will guide you. For any doubts in regards to Insurance, check your policy copy, it will have a toll free number for claims, call them and keep a follow up.

But one question, have you checked the firing? is there a gas leak? is there a change in the exhaust note?

                or

Are you just claiming insurance because you need too?

Where are you from buddy? please give me location so that members residing in your city can check it for you.

Going for insurance is okay but if there is no need then you shouldnt, also if you are ready to shell out 20% of 8-9,000 then its fine.

                    Upto you buddy.

Dude R15 is fuel injected.... which means ECU controls fuel air mixture automatically according to the need.. So no need of any adjustment and moreover you can't adjust

Not exactly true. The AFR is controllable through a special diagnostic tool. However the AFR adjustments are for emission purpose and not to change fueling across the range.

saw the pic, does not look like a major thing. however if you are worried about the 'wound' on the exhaust, then get it painted. search in your city where it can be done. i really dont think there is any need for panic if there is no leak, and it wont be also in future, the parts cannot be so fragile that it gets scratched and cracks.
                                1. get it painted if it look bad to you.
                                2. dont claim insurance if its unnecessary.
