          Cool
Mine is @ 17781 kms and will be up for 7th (the 1st paid) servicing asa it touches 18K.

I'll also be replacing the chain and chain sprocket.

@tdjbiking: is the price Rs/-2815 including the labour charge aswell?
@nastrofaction: have you got the chain replaced? if so from which SVC and how much did it cost? also how much is the labour charge for the paid servicing ?

                  • nice to see so many guys completing 20K kms
i had done 5.5K kms on the previous bike (which was stolen), now on the new (2nd hand bike) i have done 7.6k kms out of which 2.8k kms was done by first owner. so that makes it approx 10.3k kms for me little more then half of it is done while touring here and there

Ron- did you get anything from insurance company.
After 6 months of search by police, you have to fill pockets of police to get the claim from insurance company.
this was the case of my friend,
halaki police bohot pareshan karegi wo "not found" letter ke liye.

Ok,I also heard that the labour charge would be around Rs/-300-400. So that's confirmed

So, it has been almost 3.5 months since you had the 6th servicing and also 2000 Kms. I would suggest go for 7th servicing for sure.
But as I see the warranty norms are already violated , there is no harm to wait for another 500 kms or so. But don't take more than a month to complete so

Had pretty bad time to get that. after filing FIR i contacted the insurance company same day, they said, "it will take minimum 90days for the insurance to start processing and after getting the Non traceable certificate form police". Police said "we will issue NTC after 3 months (90days) and you can get insurance money.
                          3 months later: Nov2012.
                          # months over but police tell me, "your bike is worth more then 50K, so it will take minimum 6 months to get NTC". i was like "wtf f f f". phoned up few people around including ACP (my friends father), Lawyers, insurance guys. finally after irritating that police guy i got the NTC after 4 n half months form the day bike got stolen. filled up police pocket too.
finally gave to insurance company (had to go 3 times due to ignorance of police and insurance guys). they took never ending 13 days to process and i got my cheque. 95% amount i got (thats the IDV value at 5% decrease because it was just 5 months old bike.)
