Today after seeing Ron's reply, I was relived that it might stop people from posting such queries( i.e. why my pants getting wet with black colour, calculate my bike's FE and so on).
But here again, dude, i guess you've R15 for quite a long time and many(literally MANY) times it was posted how to calcualte FE(although I dont see why as this should be a Nursery level math to understand).
When you've filled the petrol when 'F' was blinking, then wait till it blinks again. As simple as that.

I guess there is no point in asking here to 'THINK before you post' to the members as some of the seniors have asked to do so several times but in vain.
For a solution, I would request seniors not to reply to any question which is answered before/in the manual/not worth a question.

I hope I could see the R15(V2) thread back again in it's glory someday!!!!

          1. Same as your 3rd servicing i.e. oil,oil filter, coolant check up,chain lube(if you dont do it by yourself).
Please check the break pads, it may need replacement. But totally depends upon your riding.
          2. Yes, you can for sure.
          3. No, how can it affect your riding ? If you can sit comfortably after a little cushioning, it actually will improve your riding.
Friend in my riding group has done it with nis Ninja and he is happier than before
Thanks bro. Service tomorrow and seat cushions next week.

          • Apologize Kuntal about the Personal comment.
Anyways thanks to Ron and chirag, xDa_nightfury.
            I respect the threat.

            My personal experience,
its true, when we face any issue or we think that their is an issue
i usualy dont use the search column, that was the reason without getting Irate and pissed, i advised to have a direct "link" for Run in period Info and that too without being rude
            because i understand.
I still did not recieved the user manual from showroom.

'Stay' is the metal rod which holds the Headlight assy. I was charged 595 for the stay but 2300 for the headlight assy and yes the mirror was priced 250 as well for my case but like 10 months ago.

Once you bend the fork, its done. I tried to straighten my fork(fazer) from a good lathe but still it's not perfect.
Better replace the inner tubes and t-stem if possible.

                  • Hello everyone. Took a test ride of the bike, finally!

I have a couple of questions.

                    1) My wrists started to pain only after five minutes of riding. Is this going to be alright after getting used to the posture? It was a busy street and I could not relax at all while riding.

                    2) Is it possible to install a crash guard? i know that it is going to look ugly, but will help me save my legs, as well as the fairing. If the bike falls and somehow the entire fairing (front, sides) gets damaged, how much is it going to cost to get a new one?

                    3) I found that the handlebar was pretty difficult to rotate, while the bike was stationary. I thought that it was because of my weight on the handlebar. I then applied lesser pressure on it and tried to rotate. But the result was almost the same. The feeling was something similar to rotating the steering wheel of a stationary car which doesn't have a power steering. But this is not the case with the Fazer. What was wrong or it is like this only?

                    Please help.

                    Thank you.

                        1. There's nothing to worry about wrist pain because its just that you are not used to such kind of sitting position as the bike has aggressive sitting position. I also experienced it but i short time you'll get adapted, just use quality gloves and try to keep your elbows little bit to the inner side.
                        2. Crash guard i think to my knowledge its not possible and also it will affect the bike make and dynamics.
                        3. Handlebar felt heavy due to its placement when one gets used to it you'll not feel it and while riding there' not any issue like that.

                          1. Yup, after a while you will get used to it and will find the right sitting posture for you.
                          2. You are talking about crash guard not leg guard right ? In that case, it can save only the fairing not your legs.
3.Actually the handle bar of R15 is very nimble. R15 should not be ridden like you ride Fazer. You've to hold the tank tight with your legs and the pressure on handle bar should be as light as possible.
Initially you might feel the pressure in the city riding because of the riding position.

Wrist pain will go for sure with time.
Now you are asking if you should go for CBR150R or not on R15 forum.
Weight is not an issue, but the if you've pillion to ride with you most of the time, R15 not recommended.

What you refer to crash guards were not originally meant to save legs. Its the [stupid] RTO laws that necessitate it. Do this- lie your bike on a flat ground , you will see the tank will touch the ground mostly. In addition to adding weight they will impair handling. Hence they are a strict no no. Go for crash bobbins instead

On an another note, I witnessed my bike getting serviced last week. The folk there dint check spark plug, saying that it would involve opening the engine and that 4 stroke engine spark plugs dont require cleaning frequently. How much gravity is there in these statements?
I had completed just 1800km since the previous svc. So didnt go in for oil/filter change. Will change them as soon as I complete 3000km since the last change. IS this the interval or should they be changed every 70 days no matter what the mileage is?

Hi ppl, found out the fact that my babe goes at same speed at a particular RPM ( mine 75 @ 5k Rpm) whatsoever... I mean even with pillion. But with pillion it takes time to teach that speed. So my thoughts engine is stressed to reach that speed with the extra weight.

But the confusing part here is, if the above is true.... Then why top speed is affected by wind ??? Strange... Anyone can answer??
Its better to sweat than bleed!! "AGATT "

Thats bull! the spark requires removing the fairings not open the engine! :-P
its true that the spark plug doesn't require frequent maintainance. but checking the spark plug can give you an idea about how well the engine is running (lean / rich).
according to the manual you should but i think its safe to stretch it till 3k and save some money.
