If the damage is not visible from above then IMO you can apply anti-rust paint you get in hardware store to curb it from rusting any further.Originally posted by xDa_nightfury View PostThey checked it and said no gas leakage...

Congrats on the new wing mate... wish you loads of happy riding and kms munching.
Went riding to smilestone cafe and windmill farm yesterday. Clicked pics by phone cam.
Btw one noob question.... Sorry searched but couldn't find.. Today I found that when I turn on ignition with key with engine kill switch in on position,I can hear injector running... Whereas when I turn on ignition with engine kill switch in off position I do not hear injector running... But my babe starts without any problem after switching the engine kill switch to on position afterwards... Which one is the correct method?????Last edited by siddharthsure; 02-04-2013, 07:25 PM.Its better to sweat than bleed!! "AGATT "

My badOriginally posted by incipient View PostThats bull! the spark requires removing the fairings not open the engine! :-P
its true that the spark plug doesn't require frequent maintainance. but checking the spark plug can give you an idea about how well the engine is running (lean / rich).
according to the manual you should but i think its safe to stretch it till 3k and save some money.
I wanted to say fairing, said engine instead

Strange !. you sure you weren't looted by, now very common, 'expert' puncture repair guys in Pune. You can find the rear at hinjewadi store of MRF. I got it changed for a friend's ride a day back. They have it in stock.Originally posted by Sorcerer's apprentice View Post#14 was scary. approaching smilestone that big chicane .I was at the apex , leaning and then rear tyre went almost flat. bike wobbled and I went wide with inches of the tarmac to spare. Man that was experience in itself. :P Kuntal Remember the 6 PSI of air left in that

the engine kill switch will kill the engine, so the electrical's to the start switch and other things related to the 'engine starting' is blocked. which is why nothing happens when you turn on the keys with the switch off. i would advise you to use the switch only in traffic signals and not always to switch of the engine whenever you stop.
thats coolOriginally posted by blyzee View PostMy house is few Kms away from this beach

Btw I think Injector Runs during Ignition for some purpose.... I think we should keep the Kill switch on while turning on the ignition.......Just my opinion

I recommend you to follow 1st method you mentioned since in that case it is not just the fuel pump running, even the ECU performs its checks and sets parameter values based on it. Especially during cold starts or when you are cranking after a gap of say more than an hour, you should turn on the ignition with engine kill switch in on position. In other cases, IMHO, it would not make a big difference.
We had a tough time pronouncing that correctlyOriginally posted by blyzee View PostMy house is few Kms away from this beach

first 13 punctures were all nails buddy not the regular chips n cracks so no chance of looting thereOriginally posted by nastrofaction View PostStrange !. you sure you weren't looted by, now very common, 'expert' puncture repair guys in Pune. #14 was quite a hole there. could here the air escaping checked it and a yellow metal shroud ( which I guess was from the radium reflector base which are installed on single-lane dividers on highways along the white strip) was stuck.
P.S. at what price the tyre is retailing at Hinjewadi store ?Last edited by Sorcerer's apprentice; 02-05-2013, 10:47 AM.Keep Calm and Kaam se Kaam
