This one is good engine Oil. Hope you changed it as a FS oil.
From next time try Shell Advance Ultra, it costs Rs802/- but very apt for R15v2.0
Using it more than a year and works very smoothly and runs easily upto 4500kms without complains and very less engine heating.

actually my Bike has clocked just 7k km, so didn't wanted to switch to FS.
But thanks for advice, next time I'll go for Ultra FS :-)

7K is not a bad time to start off with fs... I used both advance ultra fs and motul 300v both are perfect choice for performence bikes.

There are wide variety of fs that motul offers for different purpose...
After switching to motul fs I slightly got some punchier performence once get set, that's not all yet smoother and better throttle response... Motul is official lubricant partner for yamaha & they are more specific to yamaha & knows what exactly to do.

It doesn't mean that shell fs is not good , they are the giants when it comes to oil and lubricants worldwide.....ask ferrari & ducati will tell the story.....

Motul is something which is unique & Highly recommended for yamaha:thumbup:

Does anyone know how to remove the rear panel and rider seat in R15 v2? I tried to but couldn't figure it out.

If you open the rear seat with the key there will two screws on the key set panel. Remove those screws and pull the panel carefully upwards. You can see two allen keys in which the rider seat is connected. Remove those allen keys and there you go...

Out of curiousness why do you wanna remove the rider seat??

Thx, but I figured it out myself . I had to remove the rider seat to change the left rear cover. By the way, I managed to take off the hugger as well. Something that I noticed immediately was improvement in acceleration, especially in the lower gears.

Today I have seen a guy who takes of whole fairingfront view looks like vixion ( exposing the entire delta box frame) and back looks like r6 with no tail indicator section, majestic naked sport combination, he certainly gain some attention from all corners. I'm damn sure he will get far more acceleration

True that.. Naked looks awesome on this bike. My brother and me had removed whole fairing few weeks back and it was looking awesome. I wanted to leave it like that only, but he didn't liked it as much as I did.

                          Ride safe and have fun.

i wouldn't be so sure of it...yes the bike's become less heavy with no fairings on it now, but them fairings are supposedly designed for increased aerodynamic efficiency, nicely streamlining and navigating through the air...removing them should increase air drag friction quite significantly...

thus at the end, i suspect he'd get the same kinda acceleration as a fully faired R15.

What??? Removing Hugger improved your acceleration ?? What kind of theory is this??
