    Where do you live brother ? Hero impulse parts are available off the shelf in mullick bazar kolkata. I will enquire the costs if possible tomorrow.

      yes i poured 1 ltr today and drained almost the same quantity. i change oil every 1500 to 1800 kms. i am using mineral oil till i complete atleast 10000kms and right now i have clocked 7000.

      i went on a long highway ride of 300 kms and rode on high rpms. manual says that we have to drain airfilter tube in regular intervals especially more frequently when riding on high rpms and roads with lot of dust.
      that may be the reason for oil or water like thing in air filter drain tube.

      Can be so, the impulse also has a red knob or tab like thing to collect the dust. I will advice you to check if air filter bolts and joints are secure,.....
      A little oil in air filter box is normal since a little noil gets evaporated and reaches theere from the crank breather tube. Anything over a few drops or 10 ml is bad.
      Also do not add 200ml excess oil you wil spring up leaks. Try adding 100 ml first I required but I think that it will be normal,

        Finally, got a call fro the dealer that my Disc and pads have arrived, after 46 days....bike is at the dealer, will pick it up this evening, can't wait to hit the road, it's been a while....

          it seems we are going to have a tough time searching for spare parts and accessories for impulse. i broke back left indicator and called four Different ASCs but no one has it in there stock.

          please can someone share a list of important parts that we may require specifically for impulse and which we can not get from after market so that we start stocking them before hero moto corp withdraws its little available support for impulse completely.

                Guys are you serious 55 k for an impuse hell thats cheaper than a honda activa here. Are you guys sure then I will be buying one asap

                  It is NOT 55k. I just got mine few months back it was just over 80k on road. Please guys get your facts straight before posting things like these and confusing everyone else.

                  Maybe second hand one would be 55k, but its not that easy to find coz the bike is not very common.

                    Is this a rumour or a fact that Hero is going to withdraw its support for impulse?
                    Hero spares have been always available in the market, even for the bikes that have been discontinued for a while.

                      Even if it stops production of thr bike
                      Any company that launches a model will have to provide spares for the next 10 odd years...
                      Govt. Norms after sales support has to be given.

                      And yes its 80k on road thats too high.
                      The bike is going to die very soon. An excellent product but priced so high
                      An achiever costs 79k on road whennits competition like discover 150 an szr costs around 65.... hero sometimes makes great products but just cant price them right

                        Planning to borrow an Impulse for this weekend. Can someone throw light on as to what FE I can expect cruising at 5-6.5k rpm all day?

                          I get abt 48km/l at that pace. So calculate accordingly.
