Then honda should have taken care of all this before selling the bike

I think its upto Branch manager to deliver the bike before registration ..
MY branch manager is very clear not to deliver the bike until Honda approves for registration , Cause it will be problem for owners if honda delays, like ur case lets wait

"maybe" guys at youtube are crouching, or he's less than 60kg, or maybe he's on a slope road..
as far as i know, it should run 120-130 (speedo indicated) easy, beyond that the bike will speed up slowly..
maybe you want to change the rear sprocket to 44T (old cbr use this one)

Well those are of much more powerful version available overseas(19bhp & 18NM torque.. something like that), Indian CBR150 is detuned significantly, so it will be more in R15 range here.

Thats Malaysian version(124kg/19bhp), Indian version(138kg) baby CBR as extra 14kg n only 18bhp ,it cant attain 160kmp, maybe if tuned .. One of the owners claimed he reached 126kmpl

The malaysian version 124kg is the old CBR. The new CBR aval there is the same that we have in india..

Many have wrong assumptions that Honda detunes the bike for India specifically for mileage.. That fact is it is not... India has very strict emission norms & hence the BHP drops in indian version than international versions.

Indian CBR250R drop by 1 BHP & CBR150R drop by 1 BHP compared to overseas market is because of the Emission Norms & not the Fuel efficiency....

oh ,ok i dont know about that but guys its not fair for us that honda has added extra weight which resulted in slightly low perforfance and why they have not not launched the malasiyan version.it would be a lot better

its like when 220 and 200 was launched and everyone used to like 200 for the black theme, btw if anyone is irritated with the switches cant they change it to unicorns switches

                          • I hear a lot of talk about the so called malaysian version

check this out Honda Motorcycles malaysia site : Boon Siew Honda - Passion Towards Dreams

There is no 150 on the list of their products..

Check the honda motor cycles site for indonesia :
                            Astra-Honda :: Product

They have the same motorcycle as us..

take a look at the specs sheet

124kg is the old cbr wet weight..with dry weight about 115kg

the new cbr have wet weight about 138kg, same for all region..
the 19.5hp and 17nm statement actually is only a marketting strategy...
know what? it's only got 15.22hp on the rear wheel, there're some people do dyno both cbr150 indonesia & thailand version..

                                it's has the same spec..
the different is (in indonesia) the headlight use 55/60w bulb, plate number bracket, missing fuel canister (to reduce cost) which connect to the fuel tank..
if you want the stock bike run faster due increased weight in the Fi version, just change the rear sprocket to 44T..
btw don't trust the speedo, real speed is about 90% from what it's displayed
(means 165 in youtube are about 148.5kmh)
